500+ levels is too many for a game with no level sync option! How can we play with new friends?

Nice point :gift:, smart!! really smart.

Soo, why u cant play togethers?, for diferent levels?, if u say this,is True, but u need accept one thing, its a MMORPG, level, sets, money and others things always is different in all players.

if u need play togethers all time, only need take 2 or 3 hours, for play togethers its all, or meaby waiting urs friends and dont leveling, online social life i think…, Hey u can have more friends :smile_cat: , only need talk really, its work.

I thing is better more events for “all players”, i dont know, take the flag?? (ya is old system sorry :heartpulse:).

But this “Pet-Friendly System” dont like for me, i say again, dont need take care of children, i play for challengers, best boss or dungeons, complicated system of skill, status, secrets questing O/.

But try, is urs moments “casual players”, take the law in urs Hand! and look the world!! is ur future!

See ya.

I’m sorry, but I’m a casual player. If this game don’t welcome casual player, then we can all leave the game and let the elitist play on.

@GM_Erick @GM_Fuji
We want a clarification on if ToS welcome casual player?

I dont say u need leave, dont need cry my Smart Friends, take :balloon:.

Look around its my opinion vs u opinion, u have one point and me meaby have point, i dont know, its dilemma of society.

Take u rol, is more funny this if u have conviction in your opinion/point.
Well im done, meaby next, take my time and, like Pet-Friendly system. in other moment… or dont.

Take care Smart Friend i liku u :relieved:

XOXO

But what you say :

Did you read what all people said about GW2/FFXIV ? They are MMORPG too, did you know ? On GW2 I was able to play with my best friend, my sister, and many times with beginners on guilds I helped to start at any lvl. I’m not a casual like Mirarara, for the moment, but that kind of system is not only for casuals, it’s a community oriented system. Your point is your point, but it’s wrong.

Reading the whole thread made me think that the friction stems from the fact that not all of us have the same concept of “friends”. :joy:

To some, friends are people who are FUN to be with… no matter how slow or noob your friends are, you still wanna play with them 'cause it’s much more enjoyable. You wanna help each other out in the game, but it’s not like you’re encouraging them to be lazy or greedy of your “services” as a higher level player, but because playing together as a team of friends totally rocks! These people think, “I don’t think my Level 500 character would matter so much when I’m alone up there. This is not an offline RPG game for goodness sake, better play my pals and enjoy the game!”

To others, friends are TROUBLESOME creatures who slave them off for easy leveling, equipment, money, mats and whatnot. They think, "Why are these people pushing for a level sync option? You want an easy game tailored for your needs but ToS is not like that. The game already has it’s built-in game mechanics and it’s too difficult to incorporate the changes you are asking. Everything that I achieved in ToS - level, skills, build, equipment, mats, money, etc. - is a result of me executing a well-thought out gaming strategy and investing a lot of time in this game. It is possible to reach high levels without any help. Having a level sync is unfair 'cause it totally derails the achievements of a hardcore player.

I took my time to engage with the community and party up with other people (who I don’t know btw) within my level, and I enjoyed ToS with it. I did all the quests, immersed myself with the music and the world, and leveled up with little or without any help from people that I personally know, and yet I enjoyed ToS. What nonsense are you spouting about when you say it’s not enjoyable to play ToS without your real-life friends? How come you don’t enjoy it the way I did? Rethink the level sync option, and see ToS in another perspective - I’m sure you’ll enjoy it."

So there. I hope I covered the other side well 'cause I’m with TS here. It’s just the way I play - I play with friends. I don’t stay long in an mmorpg without having any friends to play to. Sometimes, I meet new friends in game, that’s cool. But I also have a set of friends who are my playmates since time immemorial. It’s boring without them. So please, ToS, I hope you could let us play together. :sob: #TeamPlaywithFriends #MentorSystem

you sure ur casual i see you posting like non stop in every thread XD.

Since noone said anything yet, let me be the one.

Your english is far from perfect and I dont think you understand what people is trying to say.

And your disrespecting other people wont make your communication skills any better.

Seems to me like a ease way to clear the road for dual client power leveling crap… from my experience playing is more ease to find partys and friends on lower levels since the only goal is to get exp the fast way clearing the maps card quest. No need to force the game pace, what i think it can help to the suggestion is when guilds are activated the caps can be rethinked and some of the ideas can be implemented for especial guild quests and dungeons that probably will exist. That way most guilds not need to put extreme level restrictions for admissions and people can find a good extra reasons to join a guild and socialize.

That sounds like a very good idea.

It will be a bit slower at launch tho, due to people needing to get to rank 7 to create a guild.

But adding rewarding guild quests and events, and of course, the guilds allowing the new players to join could solve a lot of the social and even lower a bit the solo grinding.

I like this idea a lot.

I don’t think you have the right to demand an answer from the GMs like that after you’ve openly declared that abusing an exploit is okay as long as you can come up with some stupid childish logic to justify it.

I hope you leave the game.

Wohoho! Relax bro.

Im pretty certain Mirarara was just looking for “legal holes” in the Terms of Service with the intent of IMC noticing it and solving it, or at least thats what it looked like to me.

He/she has been quite active in the forums giving well thought arguments, so I dont think what he/she did was with the intention to harm or fool IMC.

I appreciate that you’re trying to defend him/her but I’ve re-read that thread twice and it doesn’t sound like he/she was trying to be productive. If we hear news of exploiters in OBT/release he/she will be the first to come to my mind.

I did not read everything too. I agree that this is a convenient way to do.
So is making a character dedicated to play with friends. Lets say that your “character X” is for soloing while your “character Y” is for partying with friend(s). Just wanted to say this out. Confused why some are having a big trouble with playing with friends. This is ToS, you can like endlessly make different characters with different class routes. There should be more than one you would like to try too.

Now back to reading some of these.

Thanks for actually reading my post lol. Most people can’t make deduction out of the post (I even clearly said that the TOS should be fixed if they don’t want more people to make twisted logic I made), and get angered because they have no way to make an logical reply.

@neconis1990
Don’t spoil my identity. Go back and play your ToS.

Oh wait, ToS iCBT is dead soon. Biblethump.

More Hardcore to the game, bosses very easy, lvling too fast, no problems with money, more PVP to the game, remove Talt from dungeon bosses, just Talts from world bosses, make a battles for world bosses, make a more motivation for PVP players even maybe PK in the future outside of the towns. If game will be easy they get cap and leave 100%, thats exprienced from another games that failed, take the best from long life projects. GL, Cya!

Didnt play for 3 weeks i hit rank 6 and stop cause i did everything i wanted. Too much playing burns you out specially if the game is bugged like this.

More like no point trying to take your childish logic seriously. Go re-read that thread and see how many people appreciated your oh-so-noble act of testing the terms of service i.e. try this in real life and see whether your stupid arguments get you out of jail.

Welcome to internet.

game too easy for you sir?play peltasta full CON and solo all dungeon to 200.
still too easy?dont worry IMC will increase max lvl to 600 :joy:

I agree with you. I was waiting for a party at a dungeon entrance. I refused a party invite and I nicely explained that one of them is exactly 24 levels higher, which gives no exp. After the high level person left, they refused to party with me. So much of being nice in giving feedback these days. And most likely language barrier as you explained.

Sounds like a mentor system, perhaps that will help. But I believe it is good to have fun together. Some kind of scaling would be nice.

I don’t think it works. Since the game is closed, I cannot test this, but I do not think they gain exp in a dungeon for partying this way.

I agree, we are here to give feedback, not necessarily solution.

I think you misunderstand the purpose of MMO. It is meant to play together regardless of what stage they are in. Otherwise, we can have a local version for people to play if there is no reason to play together.

I don’t think they have the definition of casual player. No point of getting GM involved. Some people may have their perspective. Regardless, I think such a system in place would not hurt people who likes to level themselves, so I am not sure why they want to argue for having such a system when they can choose not to use it.
