Well, the reasoning behind this is that he doesn’t think it’s a smart idea to waste so much in pots when the build itself is made to make money.
In the end, it doesn’t matter if you hit for 50 or 1000 more. What matters is if you can spare yourself another cast of split arrow to kill that same mob.
Here’s some math I quickly did taking as assumptions:
- The only mobs in the dg are Malstatues (whose HP I typed wrong. It should be 27k instead of 28k) and Glizardons
- You don’t have any elemental damage and/or buffs
- You have 100% critical chance because it’s much easier to make maths that way
So, as some probably thought, the gap between lv1 and lv5 split arrow gets smaller with higher attributes. Not bigger, and that is because leveling it doesn’t really affect how many times you need to spam split arrow to kill stuff (See how, at 0% attributes, it takes 15 hits of a lv1 split arrow to take down a glizardon against 14 of a lv5 one)
What affected the amount of hits most was the attributes, which should be as high as possible to minimize the amount of sp wasted per run. This is also ironic, since all this discussion is for saving (or even earning) the most money as we can, but depending on how much you use this char, it could be worth it or not
If I missed something on my math, please tell me
Edited to fix a small bug, which makes it now even more clear lv5 split arrows are less SP efficient
