I have nothing against it’s creator @excrulon and I do believe he made it for a definite good purpose, the merits of using zoomy add-on is astounding, it can make good screenshots, trace different paths and potentially save time for 100% map completion. However the recent use of zoomy in Team battle league and Regional guild battles creates a conundrum whether thus zoomy add on is truly beneficial or an agent for exploits.

Using zoomy add on in Team battle league gives a certain advantage since you can scout others costumes (if they’re not using tp costumes) and the types of weapons i.e maces, rods, staffs, crossbow, bow, in which would give a certain vantage point on what to expect and avoid during the game. It also gives a advantageous discrepancy once you saw the different buffs being laid out on the opposing team i.e ausrine, ressurect, revive, haste, cloak, spiritual link, etc. It’s pretty easy to get a good gist on what to do once you saw the enemy team composition in which should not be allowed, tracking enemy pattern movements is also easy on using zoomy; whether the team lays out or has a certain specific strategy that could utterly be seen.

Using zoomy addon in Regional Guild battles is one of the worse case in a fair pvp match. The guild battles randomly gives out the coordinates of your guild towers, thus making it a norm to scout first and know where the enemy resides in. In a fair gvg match, it would take you at least 20 seconds or above (in cases where enemy guild is camping) to know where the exact plane of the enemy’s guild tower. However as zoomy is used used as an exploit, zoomy addon can be used to totally rush in the enemy unprepared and knowing before hand the location of the opposing guild. We do know as of now the one who has advantage is knowing the enemy itself.
We could go ramble and argue whether the zoomy addon is beneficial overall however seeing how some individuals and guilds use this exploit just to somehow guarantee a win is laughable and should never be allowed.
