Your "anti-goldseller" measures are making our lives miserable

Hi, IMC.

I’m level 250. I have about 1 mil silver on my hands and more in retrive, but you know what? I can’t buy ONE LITTLE RUBY in your game. Cuz hey, it can’t be put on market for more than 100k (which is another topic full of hate), and that’s not adequate, thus, there are no Rubies on market. It also can’t be traded for some other market loot, cuz hey, if I buy it - it’s untradable. And there are little to none equips of interest that are worth only 250k (which is appropriate for a Ruby). Result - I AM SO ANGRY, YOU WOULDN’T BELIEVE IT.

The guy I wanted to trade for Ruby with - he wanted to gift it to smb. Thus hey, we can’t do a two-way trade, cuz if I trade it - it’s untradable, and he already gifted a recipe to that person.

And you know what? THIS IS A NORMAL SITUATION IN UR GAME. I’ve already encountered it several times and most of the people I know also did.

You have implemented SO MUCH counter-measures against goldsellers, you’ve literally made NORMAL PEOPLE’S LIFE MISERABLE. Your trading restrictions are THE WORST I’ve EVER seen in ANY MMO. And hey, THERE ARE STILL GOLDSELLERS AND BOTS. Your measures DON’T WORK.

I dont care if there are similar topics. I just want you to understand PURE HATE I feel when I think about how trading is implemented in your game.

If you think such measures are good for business - it’s your funeral. I want to stick with you and give you my support, but sometimes the only thing I feel about certain aspects of the game is pure rage.

Like one of my friends said: “ToS is a wonderful game, but a horrible MMO”. That person have left the game for good. And it’s not only about trading… Make of that what you will.

Thank you for your time.

If you were a real hardcore gamer you wouldn’t need to trade with anyone to get what you want, go grind it.

I got 1 milion at lvl 80 getting used to the market, you must just full your selling slot at all time. If something sell just refill the slot. If you keep doing that youll get some silver every day

I mean, if IMC can’t fix this, people are gonna start making their own unnoficial servers and do a way better job

Ginbei the people don’t wanna grind purely for silver.

Also the newbies would have a problem if people would start doing it because the best silver/h is demon prison and BELOW so you wanna have all 280s going there for silver?

Free to play games (from my own experience) have never been super convenient for F2P’s comparing to those who pays, while ToS might not have the best F2P features, its still better comparing to some other games.
One example would be DC Universe or whatever that mmo was called.
Heck i wasnt even able to buy anything from the market because i was f2p.

And also, you can gain 500k-1m silver just doing both Orsha and Klapedia quests all the way to Fedimian town, without “hardcore” farming.

At current market in Fedimian server, thats 1-2 tokens right there.
Do keep in mind that tokens will likely get alot more expensive once we hit f2p though.

And its the players choice if they want the Pay2Play features as a
“full f2p-er”

I’m on the opposite end of the spectrum here. I want to sell my Sissel Bracelet recipe and Rubies, but the price ceiling is absurdly low. There’s no way I’ll ever sell the recipe for 200k and rubies for 100k each unless I’m irrational.

Uh, dude, this has nothing to do with token benefits and f2p users.
Everyone has these restrictions. And don’t get me started on the retarded market restrictions that pretty much make it impossible for some items to put up, like Aias Recipe only being able to sell at 200k maximum.

In a sense it does, as free players can only register one item, while token users can put 10 items, not to mention the 30% taxes vs 10% the potential income itself is a restriction for f2p’s

Not really, the OP isn’t talking about that at all.

I don’t agree, I think it’s the same as most free-to-play games and it’s not better than pay to play games because pay to play games are quality games (expect the first FF14 in which they used a bad game engine).
F2P Does not work for any MMORPG. Almost all MMORPG games fail. I can’t even think of one that didn’t and yet but I can think of P2P like WoW (old) or FF14 (recent). It just doesn’t work and it’s a really bad model. Don’t you guys see that IMC is doing things to gain money like making new costume rather than trying to fix bugs? It’s because they need to make money first and then fix the bugs. That’s F2P

Btw, I’m not saying they don’t care about fixing bugs and problems, I’m saying it’s their first priority to get cash first to pay the programmers to fix it.

The game has already gone through so many changes to make it more accessible to those who don’t pay a cent. There is a fine balance between sustainable f2p and just outright f2ploading.

IMC have listened to players outcries and have reacted and provided good solutions.

The way they’re fighting bots i 100% agree with, they’re doing the job and showing results day by day.

The systems that are in play right now prevent the situation from progressing faster than it should and it shows in a pretty stable and affordable market. Other mmo’s would have inflated unsustainable markets after 1 month of the service, ours is still very very usable.

They’re doing a good job and i dont think anything marketwise needs to change for the time being, in the future maybe, but not now.

I 100% wholeheartedly disagree with you.

Their direction with trade restrictions and in general their lack of quality of life features that could be gleaned from MANY other games can be equated to a pile of hot garbage, and the game will die an agonizing death if IMC doesn’t get it together, things ALREADY don’t look good. Steam reviews don’t mean much in totality but it sure as heck shows you how much first impressions count for.
