We’re 15 minutes into the GvG week on Monday and look at the scores. In particular, look at ALpha’s Win and Lose. The rankings are STILL broken, remembering accumulated scores from previous weeks.
In fact, it’s not that it’s still broken, it has never worked properly ever since they changed to the new map. Either:
-The ranking does not refresh and the old scores from the previous week remain;
-The ranking resets properly but breaks randomly at some point, trashing all current scores and reverting to the accumulated scores of previous weeks;
-Randomly breaks for one or two guilds. Sometimes a guild on top gets a bugged score and plummets down, or a guild low on the current standings gets their score reverted to a previous, higher value, stealing positions on the top;
In other words, Guild Battle League is a non-functional feature that’s been giving endless piles of free TP to certain guilds. The mechanics behind GBL are garbage themselves but, when other guilds see that it’s literally impossible to get higher up because the game mode LITERALLY HAS NEVER WORKED AS INTENDED, SINCE IT WAS IMPLEMENTED LIKE FIVE MONTHS AGO, nobody is making an effort.
Dear IMC, could you PLEASE stop ignoring our pleas and fix this game mode already? It’s not just causing people to lose interest in the game, it’s messing up the economy way beyond repair at this point.
Nobody is cheating to get TP, the ranking simply bugs randomly and gives higher scores to certain guild. Alpha isn’t even the biggest culprit.
Check the previous week’s standings. 31 Win and 1 Lose to Crimson. There weren’t that many games in the entire week, Crimson was NOT first place until the last day. They played a game, got a bugged ranking, and earned instant first place.
Didn’t Futureproof(Lolipantsu guild) benefit from the bug last week standings and become 4th place or something?Wouldn’t be a lot worst for your guild Loli if they fix it?
Why make the thread now that Alpha got bugged (which is not the first time) and not before when your guild was bug just last week lol and boasting in 4chan about your ranking and getting free TP.
Which last week was that? The ones where we got 3rd place and Lotus got 1st? or the ones where we got 1st place all week (the screenshot that you posted)?
For the last week, we were ranked 1st right from the first day. We participated for all 7 days straight, got almost 4 matches each day (there was only 1 day where we only got 1), won all of them, got 27 wins. From those 31 wins, only 4 wins that were recorded from the last week before that.
And btw I didn’t see your guild playing at all last week, but your guild got 2 wins with 0 loss.
It’s not like the system intentionally gave us our #1 weekly TP. People like you can keep saying we got free TP or whatever, but we always worked for it.
If you want those TP and think that you deserve them, go get them. I’ll see you in this week’s GvG. Looking forward for some entertaining performances from your side.
This is not the first time GvG ranking gets bugged.
And nah, there is no way to get a #1 rank without playing that many games. It is not RNG. The reason why Crimson was once ranked very high even though we only participated on a few games was because the system still used the records from the previous weeks, and Crimson always participated almost everyday in GvG to be able to get that amount of win. The points and scores didn’t get reset, just like TBL.
Let’s say Crimson got 20 wins last week. On the next week, there is a chance that those 20 wins are still there. So, Crimson didn’t even need to participate in that many games for that week if the other guilds are already way behind of them. But even with that fact, we still do GvG in a regular basis because GvG isn’t only about winning the TP for me. It’s one of the game’s late game feature and we are here to enjoy it together and have fun. We’ll always be there for exciting, challenging matches that some guilds gave to us. We’ll always be there to entertain the spectators as well.
But honestly, in our server, you don’t even need to “abuse” this ranking bug. All you need to do is participate in 1 game, doesn’t matter whether you win or lose, and you might get to the top 10 if you are lucky, and get that TP by the end of the week.
Funny thing is, the person you are talking to who said “They played a game, got a bugged ranking, and earned instant first place.” actually played 0 game last week and got to 4th place. So I’m confused why he’s complaining in the forum right now. If he really wants the TP that badly then he should just take it away from the current #1 by actually fighting them and take them down, instead of avoiding matches and then complaining in the forum because “the ranking is bugged”.
This is a lie. There’s not enough guilds queuing every day for 27 wins in a single week.
We played one game on the first day. The ranking was broken from the start last week, keeping scores from the previous week. Yes, it happens to everyone, not just you. The difference is that when it happens to your guild you get 1250 points and shoot straight to first place, with no chance for any of the other guilds to catch up.
Who are you trying to fool? Everyone knows the rankings are bugged and giving your guild free score almost every time.
We fought Lotus 3 times, Diamond 3 times, Alpha around 5-6 times, CuteNotLewd a few times, Asperity a few times, Ohayou 1 time, TeamAqua 1 time, Inertia 1 time, ReRoll 1 time, RadiantArietis 1 time, and I don’t remember the rest. I also took plenty of screenshots, even though there aren’t 27 screenshots as I only took the screenshots when we fought against big guilds and some small new guilds that we haven’t fought before.
And it’s not like I can call out every single guild we fought last week just to confirm in the forum and prove that you are just making things up.
Let’s say Crimson aren’t participating for many days, letting other guilds getting matches. When Crimson starts doing GvG, then the other guilds would just stop participating at all because they know Crimson wouldn’t be able to catch up that way. Is this the kind of win that you want?
Funny thing is, if you know that Crimson would get that much of an advantage if they keep participating in GvG, why don’t you stop them from getting their wins? Why don’t you try to fight them and win just like a few other guilds do? Why don’t you put more effort instead of crying in the forums? Those guilds that fought us, even though they lost most of their matches (heck, even some of them could win. We got that 1 loss from Diamond btw. Kudos for them), still got those 2nd 3rd 4th places that they deserve. And how about you?
Okay, so you are basically describing your own situation from last week. I get your point now.
Don’t try to turn this into an argument about whether or not you deserve those wins, that’s not the point. The point here is: The rankings are bugged, and they bug at least once per week. If not for everyone, they do for particular guilds. It has nothing to do with your guild’s merit.
It is also a fact that guilds get instant score reversals randomly. Your guild and mine are them more abhorrent examples of it, but it can happen to any other guild and unfairly shifts the score around. One of the reasons nobody wants to put effort into GBL is because at any time, the scores could break and all effort is lost.
This is the current GvG standings for this week.
Everything got reset (except for Alpha’s win-lose counts, but don’t blame them, blame the system). Everyone should have 1000 starting points now.

Acting smug doesn’t change the fact you’re trying to defend the system being alright as it is(broken) just because it benefits you the most. Your screenshot shows its all, Alpha played one game last night and they have 1022 points, when they should in fact have 1012 instead. They got a bugged score and now they’re displaying an accumulated win/lose ratio and the score from last week.
Have I ever said anything that I’m “all right” with this current system?
Because there were times where we were in the disadvantages because of that.
There was a time when our scores didn’t get updated for 1 week, and another guild took the #1 rank even though we had way more wins than them. You even posted the thread yourself and saved us the trouble.
We participated almost everyday, got 16 wins but those 16 wins didn’t get recorded. Look at the result.
I have no reason to not complain about the current system.
The fact that other guilds are getting demotivated because of this problem also harms us as well. We will waste our time everyday waiting for 1 hour just to get 0 match.
If you weren’t ok with the bug why haven’t you reported it when your guild kept the those 2 wins last week LMAO?

I’ve been making them periodically, not every week. I decided to do so now because it’s the first day and it’s easy to spot the broken score right now, it has little to do about us being benefited by the issue.
The issue with reporting this bug is that it always turns into a wank about “lol y u dont git gud and beat us”, completely overlooking the fact that the ranking has not worked as intended even ONCE since it was implemented. Particularly because people are more worried about trying to pass of as intimidating on an internet forums than about having the game work properly.
