Yay lost all my exp tomes

There, fixed it for you.

The idea is that you are suppose to see the compensation, and immediately redeem it on the character that was affected by the service problems. Not to let it sit there indefinitely so you can redeem it on a new character some time in the future.

Conversely, wouldn’t every moment that those busy players lose be even more precious than for someone who plays every day?

Well no, it wouldn’t.

Haha I played everyday but like someone above, I also misread the date - I thought it was dd/mm/yy instead of yy/mm/dd
I didn’t redeem them because I didn’t know whether to redeem them on Orsha or another server
Oh well, no use crying over spilt milk~ Moving on~

Missing 2004 that much?

Sorry, I think it just had to be said, no offense intended

[/quote]I think I might have to get my eye checked either - I only noticed the first four digits and ignored the last two.

What’s even more stupid is that I’m a computer programmer so I often mark stuff with yymmdd dates, like my photo folders.

I just see mm/dd/yy dd/mm/yy listed everywhere @_@

One will generally only see what they expect to see.

Reading comprehension has never been one of my strong points due to a fairly severe case of dyslexia. But thats beside the point and really cant be blamed on anyone but myself. Or genetics I guess. Lol.

Either way if you have been trying to save them for whatever reason and have been just ignoring them in there. Its really on you.

Now if you have been trying to log in and not able to due to server issues. Than in that particular instance I can see them reimbursing the now deleted reimbursments.

Maybe it’s a cultural thing and you’re just used to one format. At least in Finland it’s always in dd/mm/yy format while I think Asians have it usually yy/mm/dd and to maximize the confusion then there are also the illogical Americans who use that mm/dd/yy

I’ve been working in databases too much recently. I see everything in YYYY-MM-DD lately.

The inability to read or attempt to read anything by forum posters in this game astounds me…

Yesterday the dude who bought bank slots and just assumed they were account upgrades, people who never bothered to look at that mail, the dude who says there is no sale on the founder pack the last week. It is just amazingly sad.

You must admit the date format wasn’t obvious though, especially when you’re a new player and are not used to the yy-mm-dd format. I’ve never seen that before with dashes.

Plus the issue is not inability to read - it’s the inability to learn from mistakes and move on.

I guess, I dont think it takes an enigma machine to decipher it though; maybe like 10 secs just looking at…

Luckily they added the text format too on their latest expiring gift

Haha that’s what exactly happened to me - I spent more than 10sec looking at it ‘err… why is the first 2 digits 16… oh! that must be the date!. Next is 04? 16-04, 16 April then’

The last 2 numbers? Forgot its existence.

Habit is scary~

I lost mine too, didn’t realize they did state it so yeah the fault is mine.

XD Good that I don’t have to decode that!

i can confirm that those exp tomes are suppose to expire on the 16th of april and now they are all gone after the patch. i think thers 5 or 6 tomes and im pretty sure about the expiry date coz i only retrive 1 tome for my highest lvl char and since the expiry date is still far ahead ive decided to leave the rest to my other alt incase i want to level them this week.

16 is 2016, it said 16,04,04

2016 april 4th.

Yes, it was very clearly stated. Both in the announcement on these forums, and on the mail itself in your inbox.

@gorathff ftw.

They expire because those are compensations for people activly playing the game.

Imagine someone coming back after 3 months and having 200 mails with compensations for stuff he was not even affected by …

This is common practice in most games where they offer compensation items on a regular basis.
