This is far more work then sending it out with a expiry date. Also they kinda have a lot to work on right now if you haven’t noticed.
They’re already doing the same damn thing I’m suggesting for the dungeon runs. The code/interface to achieve the dungeon run compensation and server instability compensation should not be very different!!! If it is, they are more incompetent than I thought!
Maybe you should go tell them that it’s far too much work and to forget about the dungeon vouchers?
Correct once you claim them they don’t expire.
As i have said to everyone who says this what sounds reasonable about a expiry date of April 16th 2004?
This is probably to avoid rewarding players not playing. And people who can’t read are just getting caught in the crossfire.
If they said “Sorry about the dungeons were not compensating you but we pulled some over time and fixed the issue” i would be fine with that 2 but as they have stated they gave the scrolls because they failed to fix it in time for this patch.
You should apply for a job as a CM or staff at imc. You’re certainly willing to defend the company to the bitter end. On second thought, maybe not, you’re also alienating a lot of players who look at situations like this and think it’s indefensible.
No, they don’t expire. Not to my knowledge at least.
Meh, you can look at my history i have argued plenty of issues against them, the one i most frequently fight is the trade issues. And i have even called out the staff on mistakes before.
Those players are probably children as players losing items because they failed to read is a minor issue. Especially when you consider that the items have the expiry date written on them LITERALLY 3 times, and when they announce these compensations in game or in the forums the announcements contain the dates as well. So these dates are visible 3-5 times. They can’t do much more to make it more obvious.
I can back to this shitstorm I didn’t know I created. Damn. Also, where the ■■■■ did it say ANYTHING on the items ? The info was a little button underneath THAT DIDN’T TELL YOU ANYTHING UNLESS YOU HOVERED OVER IT. I don’t give a damn about these ■■■■■■■ exp tomes, but it’s ridiculous how all you lil shits think I’m stupid for not reading something that should have been better informed.

IMC Made the information available, it was view able in several locations, beyond that they made announcements. IMC made the information available but they can’t force you to read it. This is like people complaining about X when it was addressed on the announcement page all over again.
i haven’t been able to claim the tomes from the compensations cause of all the server issues and not being able to log in past the server screen. i’m not really mad about it cause i never actually used them yet. i’m just a little annoyed cause they expired so quickly
See now if you can’t get past the server screen and lose them that way, that seems like a legitimate complaint.
And about the date thing. Im sorry I misread something. No reason to look down and put down other people for making a damned mistake. Lol.
So once claimed, do the damn items expire or not??? Cause its worded like they do, but the items themselves say nothing?
Sorry if it came out that way. Just getting agitated with all the “WHY ARE MY XP TOMES GONE” Posts on the forums when the information is readily available.
They do not expire once claimed
No worries. Luckily even though I did misread it they still all got pulled out in time.
Im just tired of all the hostility on the forums I guess.
I pretty much only read the forums when in at work (otherwise id be playing the game lol) and all I see is either people pissed at imc. Or people pissed off at the people pissed off at imc. You know?
We gotta stop the anger somewhere.
What if i fall under both categories lol
Also the feel goods
how to redeem the tomes in alts? thanks
Well they’re gone now, so you can’t
Because IMC supposes everyone of us connects everyday to play.
If you aren’t playing actively enough to log in once every three days or so, you don’t need compensation for the lost playing time either as it wouldn’t be that significant in the first place.
