IMC please put XP Boster for last text before the servers leave out, plaseeeeeee .
actually now is the right time to test the premium feature aswell
including what kind of cash shop items they will sell later
they should test it now
this is the icbt2 last week afterall, then goes to indo cbt2 and later korea obt in december
such a tight time
edit : or maybe they will test the cash shop items in indo cbt2? because we get like different exp boost each day back in indo cbt1
fyi… the exp boost was very nice, i even hit rank 4 BEFORE reach the akmen bridge!!!
Don’t really see the point in it to be honest. They stated they don’t intend on including any P2W elements into it (Well, a lot of companies say this and then do the opposite a few months after launch, but we’ll give them the benefit of the doubt), so we’ll be seeing the usual:
- Costumes
- EXP Booster
- Unique Pets
- Skill Set Skins/GFX changes (Low chance)
Post must be at least 20 chars
There are a couple more things that can be used here:
- Skills/stats reset (as selling in shop already)
- Potential refill
- Dungeon run counter reset
- Teleport stone
- Premium healing potions
But why tho’?
“Here guys, test out these new costumes that are aesthetic-only.”
“Hey guys, test out this EXP potion that temporarily gives you +20% more EXP”
“Hey guys, test out this pet that has the same coding as the other pets, but the form of a Hippo!!”
I could see if it was Premium Content (Which is P2W), but no need to go out of their way to create a free Item Mall and create vanity items to put in there-- not to mention there’s only a week left for this and there’s a game-breaking bug that crashes the client on Quest and Dungeon Bosses.
Pls no Premium HP Pots. In the games I played with them present, they had no cooldowns and were enabled for PvP. You’d rarely run into someone who could spam them, but when you did, it was a nightmare.
Just disable all pots in PvP? No need for premium pot, a monk with 55 stamina spamming double punch in your face is already a nightmare if he can use just 1 stamina pill

I know that it’s as simple as just disabling them, but the Devs either didn’t bother implementing that or purposely left them enabled for PvP because they’d sell better (Not many people are gonna buy Cash Shop Pots in a game where 1 healer is enough to keep the whole team alive, especially the Healer in this game), and because:

This is the very definition of P2W. It gives paying players an advantage over non-paying players that non-paying players can not make up for. The only way it would not be P2W is if “premium healing pots” were only as good as the highest level of Alchemist pots, and it was only offered as a pay option so that you didn’t have to go through the effort of making them yourself.
Even if it is disabled in PVP, paying players could still get an advantage in any type of PVE competition since a player with better pots can tank more, take on harder mobs, die less on World Bosses… it is just not a good idea and a slippery slope IMO.
if dungeon run counter reset exist in the game and it is cash shop item i will not play the game one of the more annoying stuff they could put in cash shop.
These 2 sound like major issues mainly the top one allowing you to create better items then the average player, thats a no no.
Well if not iCBT2, maybe in iCBT3 they should have higher XP rates or have those Item Mall available for free or something.
This should help avoid issues if they go for OBT.

[/quote]One of the things you have to consider is that if premium items are purely cosmetics, IMC will go bankrupt. They have to give some advantages, and not directly affect the game play of the others
Dungeon reset counter isn’t really something to fret over, after all you level up in dungeon and eventually stop running it after a certain number of times. This is just to shorten the time, like EXP booster
Potential refill, yeah it is aimed to allow players to create better items, but more importantly, allow trading items again. Heck the potential system here is too harsh, 3 sockets created = 3 potential, a market trade = 1 potential. I can’t imagine how you get +10 item with the remaining 5-6 potential. If you think refill 100% potential is a problem, maybe just make it refill 1 potential to allow trading.
Premium healing potions, as good as it sounds, at level 140+ you tend to party a lot, and cleric is there to negate the need of it. This is more like emergency potion
Um to harsh? Most mmos have binding now which is a far harsher trading restriction.
We have untradable here too, please only count the tradable ones
rofl we cant do that your basically saying “please skew the argument in my favor by limiting factors” untradable items are few and far between in this mmo when compared to others, in most others only the weakest of items are repeatably trade able. if they want to take potential off the white items by all means go ahead.
We only see a small part of this game, there are many strong items in this game are untradable (think boss drop recipe, same for other games) only the recipes are tradable. I don’t know what games you are referring to, but binding have 2 types: bind on equip and bind on pick up. Most good items are bind on equip, meaning you are free to trade them until you decide to wear them
yes which makes potential better in some aspects because you could wear something then sell it afterwords to another player if you left some potential on it.
In certain cases one is better than another. Have you tried upgrade and item to +10 or +15 here? In other games where items are destroyed on fail upgrade, they sell upgrade safeguard, which is pretty much the same thing as potential refill, just much more limited.
yea, and those games a ruined by it like ragnarok was. Its a bad cash shop item that should not exist. and yes +10 has been easy 15 has been tough. but that is how it should be
