I was looking at something to use with Fletcher 3 on world bosses, kinda iffy no whether or not R3 is ideal, though R2 beats the others for sure. I’m just curious as to how R3 would hold up to being able to add Wugong Gu and Needle Blow into your DPS rotation for world bossing, assuming there isn’t actually a Wugushi there. Obviously it won’t be good if there is, but I’m interested in hearing about how it would affect if there isn’t. And also any idea for the formula for scaling with str or attack for Wugushi’s poisons would be great, can’t find a lot of info about Wugu atm.
Ty!
wugushi poison doesnt stack, meaning if another wugushi is on the world boss you will override each others dots and none of you will do any poison damage.
It only gets worse whan they are more wugushi. Terrible class design for wugushi. Dont pick it you want to do world bosses.
Did you even read what I posted before responding?
Yes, but speculating that you are the only wugushi doing a boss and picking a whole circle based on that, its nuts.
There will always be atleast one other.
I’ve talked to plenty of people who do world bossing and say that often enough there isn’t even one Wugu there, likely because everyone assumes that someone else will already be there. I don’t see taking one circle, especially at such low circles where the others aren’t huge on comparative value such a huge risk, and it could be useful bump in DPS vs world bosses. And if not you lose a bit, but it’s not like you’re throwing your whole build away for the extra damage when it’s usable.
well if you want to believe them go ahead, but dont be suprised if you wasted a circle:D
Sure thing buddy. Next time tell me something I don’t already know when you post please.
Well you obviously dont know world bosses, since you believe rolling wugushi c1 will be a good choice:D
gl hf buddy!
for a more constructive opinion:
whether or not another wugushi will be there is luck, but you can use your dots after they use theirs to lower your competition’s dps.
your dots dont last very long at c1 and don’t crit, so if your party buffs or stat/gear layout don’t support going high/full str, Scout will be the most worthwhile imo. Flare shot is an additional MA almost at a longer cooldown but you also gain movespeed which helps with everything but dullahan apparently.
R2 W1 and Sc1 are about even on damage by my guess, W1 may be slightly best if no other wugushis, usually worse if there are. R3 option gives the most burst damage as A2 path’s swiftstep leads to most consistent damage at this very moment.
Lol isn’t swift step kinda pointless if you’re high str?
And yeah I was curious about how Wu’s two DoT’s there would compare to other skills, I do’nt know how their scaling works though. Is it just 1 to 1 with atk?
nope, crit rate can come from gear party buffs gems etc. and swift step multiplies it. sure its useless early lvling a str-focused build. but when you start needing your max potential damage, swiftstep is one of the best buffs for you due to 25% increased crit rate.
like other skills i believe each hit is base damage + 100% physical attack, figuring in modifiers somewhere like element property.
