Has anyone tried the wugu aoe posions plus the circling expand from the falc 3 to see if the poisons trigger the circling attribute? Thanks in advance
only 75% chance to copied the damage, not combo-able
Not sure what you mean by combo ?
They fix the bug that was doing an insane number of hit for no reason on some spell if that what you mean.
The poison is physical right ? So it should work, never try it before still soo maybe it work weirdly with expend.
Won’t spread the poison but should do an extra hit on another target 3/4 hit
i mean circling+poison isn’t a combo like circling+multishot+homing arrow+triple arrow.
It depends solely on circling:expand attribute, just like circling+any physical skill
Is poison physical or magic?
It can be removed, is there a physical attack that can be “cured”?
Also, when I tested poison needle + circling, it did nothing with the poison ticks.
But that was long ago. Way before any of the rebalance and tweaks.
you are right, i think it counts as elemental poison attack
It’s physical, since it can be blocked. It’s also an elemental attack, but elemental attacks can be either magical or physical.
Anything can be cured, whether it’s magical or physical. It all depends on the level of the debuff and the level of the cure/debuff protection (like Prophecy only prevents level 1 debuffs).
I just wish tos made it crystal clear. I’ll just point at “fear”. there’s a couple and they behave different.
Archer missile related stuff is physical.
Archer melee stuff is physical.
Archer pet stuff is melee in disguise.
Archer poison stuff shrug
Archer bleeding stuff shrug
Basically, just take it this way: is the class with the DOT a physical class ? Yes ? Then the DOTs are physical.
Is the class magical ? Then the DOTs are magical.
Basically the DOTs will scale with one stat depending on the class you’re playing (Fletcher’s Bleeding scales with physical attack) and that stat/damage is what tells you if the DOT is magical or physical.
I think it’s not said clearly because it’s quite logic: you’re a Wugushi, your poison scales with your PATK, then logically your poison is a physical attack.
I wish it was that simple.
If it either uses physical or magical attack to do its damage. Does that guarantee that the effect will remain classified as physical?
Circling requires either a physical or a missile attack to trigger. Poison doesn’t trigger it (last time I checked, it was long ago though)
There’s a third option I guess. A long non recorded bug?
Isn’t it just because it’s a DOT, and not normal damages ?
Bleeding also doesn’t trigger it, does it ?
Fun Fact: The first hit of the Poison skill can be spread by Circling Spand, and every time that Wugong Gu affect another enemy that first hit can be transfered to another too with Circling.
