Would like feedback for 2 builds, SR/Cannon & QS/Cannon PvE

Hey,

Im new to the game, pretty much just found about it yesterday.

I started experimenting a lot, and i came up with two builds which i would like to receive feedback on them:

First:

I really like the idea of mounting in combat and the mobility it provides.
On the same note iv read that many experienced players highly recommend finishing a build with either cannoneer or muskeeter, looking at their skill selection i can see why.

My common sense regarding the first build is on dealing very high single target damage, combining Kneel shot + Running shot and multishot when its possible to stand still.
Rapid fire also comes into play here for nuking things.
Caltrops are for AOE and Pavise for making plays.
I barely seen any SR topics in this forum for some reason, i don’t know why but i like its skill choice, a lot of “Run and Gun” which emphasize good mobility with constant DPS, so when i can’t use Kneel+Running shot i can mount up and clear mobs.

Cannoner, comes in for quick AOE clearing and generaly the great damage and CDs it have, i have no problem using it together with kneel+running shot while dismounted.

Stats Distribution: I Though 4 Str- 1 Dex, although im still learning stats, would be happy to get feedback on that as well.

Second build:

Pretty straightforward, i tried to make it a bit more viable in PvP by mixing in Heavy Shot, 3 points into stone pick, full draw for nailing people into walls and oblique shot slow.
Rest is pretty much self explanatory.

For stats: i though maybe 3:1 Str/Dex? but again, im not sure i understand the stats priority, or maybe im missing something.

Anyone? i i don’t want to start the game wit a build that will turn out to be horrible.

Another variation i was tinkering with is replacing R6 with hunter.

Reason is to enchance further single target DPS with Coursing.
The improved CRIT, together with lower phys resistance and pretty much 100% uptime can lead to some huge dmg spike, especially on bosses.
Assuming the AI on of the pet isn’t entirely broken.

EDIT: i have read somewhere that Coursing doesn’t work on big adds or bosses, if that’s the case then just scrap that idea…

Comment on the falconer build:
Well stone picking 3 with a lvl one stone shot… just use lvl 1 stone shot it has 0sp anyway. Get circling 5 on falconer ,and you only rly need one point in hanging shot imo. I also wouldn’t bother with kneeling shot but thats just my opinion. Rest looks okay.

EDIT: the build with hunter seems alot worse then the falconer one and Coursing doesn’t work on bosses + pet AI is abit wonky atm.

Big disappointment that coursing doesn’t work with bosses, just going to throw away this build then…
