Would it be redundant to still stack Crit Rate even if you're a Rogue1 with full-slot WW cards?

Or should I focus on getting pAtk and other stats/substats?

Does one override the other?

If Sneak Hit doesn’t proc the crit for a particular hit, does Crit Rate handle it next?

Are they separate in that when you’re about to successfully proc crit with Crit Rate, a failed Sneak Hit overrides it instead?

As far as I can tell, it works something like:

40% Crit Chance from Sneak Hit + 10% Crit chance from Crit Rate = 50% Chance to Crit from behind.

Someone can correct me if I’m wrong on that though, I’m pretty sure that’s how it works but I haven’t tested it myself.

Personally I think Rogue is the class that benefits most from investing in Crit Rate. I would definitely invest in it a bit, especially if you were already in deep enough to have a full set of WW cards.

no, they complement each other.
rogue1 need 60% crit chance which is 920 crit rate
rogue2 need 50% crit chance which is 679 crit rate
rogue3 need 40% crit chance which is 468 crit rate

I see. Thank you guys!

so it’s an addition? can you mention some quick numbers please? I’m thinking of going a2r2ro1sr3 on my build.

err… what quick numbers?
well, here goes nothing… 5439138661318, there! (heavy breathing)
it is an addition, you can see post patch rogue3hakka critting all the time from the back even with +60% crit from sneakhit 15.
My rogue1 with only 300 crit rate can crit 100% from the back (i still live in pre-patch world)

I can’t understand this haha:

rogue1 need 60% crit chance which is 920 crit rate
rogue2 need 50% crit chance which is 679 crit rate
rogue3 need 40% crit chance which is 468 crit rate

Anyways I think I got what I need now. Thank you bro!

Apologies, was in the office earlier XD typing too fast. ^I think you answered it above. 300critrate can crit100% with Rouge1 sneakhit lvl5

post patch sneakhit lv 5 only give you +40% crit chance, ergo you will naturally need AT LEAST 60% crit chance by yourself, which translated into number is 920 crit rate.
920^0.6=60%

And this is today right? if I go rouge1 and have 300critrate then I can crit 100% from the back using sneak hit 5?

nononono, that is today for me because i live in pre patch world where my sneakhit lv 5 give +70% crit chance. While in your case of post patch world, you will need 920crit rate if you are rogue1.

I don’t have exact numbers, but here’s what I’ve observed so far for my Archer2 Rogue1 w/ 7 x lv.10 WW cards and shooting facing the monster:

Swift Step ON (gives me a total of around 300+ crit rate including from gear)

  • Sneak Hit OFF
    = very few crits

Swift Step OFF

  • Sneak Hit ON
= ok chance of critting but nowhere half of the time

Both ON
= Feels like I’m critting more than half of the time

I am going to agree with @TwilightsCall and @myself. As expected, hitting the mob from behind results into lots of crits.

straangeeeer~ welcomee
