World PVP needs to be a thing

No it doesnt. Asking for more content is a good thing. People like me who want more out of a game?

Heres the funny thing. I practically dont care for pvp in one way or another. But I do want more content that will make the game worth more. What you and other spergs want is your pve maplestory game that you can stand around in and look cute with the headgear you bought.

I ask for more content and a bunch of pve people come in and cry that they cant handle another aspect of a game. Another thing is that I play mmos for the pve content exclusively but I do know that by adding pvp it will actually make the game more well rounded and robust.

You guys will bitch about anything. I never said that EVERY 100+ zone had to be converted to a pvp zone. That would be silly. There has to be some neutral zones and some sanctuaries.

But nope, by adding pvp it completely and utterly destroys your vision for being able to sit down, hold z and read a book. You guys arent looking for an interesting game with fleshed out mechanics and robust gameplay…you are looking for a mindless simulator where you run around with girls in cat ears and auto attack mobs for hours.

You guys are trying to keep a game that has amazing potential as casual as possible ensuring that any change that will help make a hardcore base be practically impossible, be it pve or pvp. Causals ruin games, remember that.

Also note, were at level 280 outta 600 levels… I do think were gonna get more content, maybe even some pvp; might wanna take a break till we get those other 320 levels.

I will say though, that the thought of killing bots sounds enjoyable.

No, people like you call others ‘carebear’ and pretend like open-world PvP is some ultimate Spartan trial involving massive amounts of skill…basically the typical casual player that calls themselves a ‘hardcore PvPer’ or a ‘PvP main’ on forums while whining about the lack of normalization in PvP.

I quite enjoy PvP, but open-world PvP is trash. It isn’t skill based; it’s just a way for people to act like jerks. It doesn’t add ANY content. You can already duel players. All this allows you to do is gank unsuspecting players. Please explain to me how killing an unsuspecting player is so hardcore. You clearly think it is. You must have a reason behind it.

Thread’s done. No need to go beyond the stars of what is reasonable or not. Unnecessary/Excess conflict is always bad and will never build the community at all.

Players begged for this in Black Desert Online and when it finally got patched in, everyone at the forums started crying and complaining about getting ganked while training and losing their equips while afk, etc…

careful what you ask for… i can assure u it wouldn’t be a pleasant experience and it would mess up the gameplay for alot of players

Asking for something and then having it implemented poorly is not an excuse to not do it elsewhere.

Open-world PvP is a perfect example of something that implemented poorly. There is literally no reason for it other than to bully others.

You also never answered my question. What is so hardcore and skillful about ganking an unsuspecting player instead of challenging them to a duel? You made it a point to call yourself hardcore and call everyone else names while you threw your little tantrum; I’d like an answer.

Ok so people play street fighter 5 to bully others. Apparently pvp is so hated because it just forces people to actually think and play their class against something or someone that can think for itself.

“bully others” Are you so trumpatized that you cant even 1v1 someone in tetris without donating to a berny sanders campaign and then showing the proof on reddit? I mean because you are either joking, hence why my post is not even bothering to remain logical or you are actually serious…which is sad.

It adds more aspects into the game. Sure there are pros and cons, but it seems to me that you can only focus on the cons and are so analy ravaged by the fact that the meer thought of pvp causes you to to have ptsd from the times in the high school showerroom with the twisted towels being snapped about.

You never really stated any actual pros. Other than a vague it adds more content? And pros specific to this game. Maybe if you did, as an OWPVP player, Id jump on board.

Because Street Fighter 5 is an open world PvP game, right? It’s totally not consensual/organized/arena PvP. Oh wait. It’s exactly that. You made possibly the dumbest comparison I can think of. You literally listed a game in the style of PvP already supported that you claim isn’t enough. At least put some thought into your arguments.

Also, if you read my previous post (if you even can read), you would see that I enjoy PvP. Open world PvP is just garbage though. It’s just a place for cyber-bullies like you to act tough behind a computer screen. I’m glad this game doesn’t have it because, as I said before, it keeps most of the trash like you out.

Really…bullying? Thats what im slamming you on though. You are so butthurt over digital characters fighting each other that you get triggered to start calling people trash and bullies. You take the slightest amount of aggression and probably scream “THEY ARE BULLIES! GOTTA STOP THEM BEFORE THEY MAKE SOMEONE HAVE A BAD DAY”

Are you even a grown up? Do we need to get an adult to supervise your internet time? Seriously suck it up. Stop bitiching about being bullies and learn that…you can turn off that computer at any time and that the mean things can be ignored and have actually no real effect in the world what so ever.

I can say YOU SUCK…what did that do? Did it crush your spine? Did it cause you brain damage. Did it make you lose a finger? Nah. Did it hurt your feelings? Only if you werent adult enough to let it wash off your skin. Seriously, suck it up.

though my old RO guild agreed to play this game for the GvG, I would only agree to world PvP if the many issues of this game have been solved first.
moreover, the game is more PvE-centric, otherwise we have had PvP zones early in the game. are the majority of the players in favor of PK? if the PvP players are just a minority of the population, it’s best to keep PvP in a separate zone, instance or even server, just like in other MMOs.

I would love to participate in something like RO’s WoE in the near future though, without the annoying lag.

I am, but you very clearly are not. You lack any sense of introspection. You have incredibly faulty logic. You are the exact definition of a cyber-bully. You act tough while you hide behind a computer screen like a coward, calling people names nonstop and then calling them infantile for not being a child like you. The irony is sadly way out of your mental grasp.

I really don’t care if you call me names. That’s what you do. You’re not smart. You can’t come up with an intelligent argument ever so you just resort to insulting others to make up for it. It’s actually fairly sad if you think about it.

No one is ‘butthurt’ but you, friend. Your idea is bad and we’ve all asked for proof that it isn’t. You resort to your typical, childish tactics of just insulting someone while failing to make any arguments in favor of your, frankly, stupid ideas. You are clearly very mad because you can’t discuss things like an adult. I’m not sure as to why, but you definitely lack that capacity.

Make a good argument or be quiet; don’t just insult others to cover up your own insecurities and ignorance. It doesn’t help your cause at all.
