I’m conflicted myself, but I most likely will stick around and just not take it seriously. After combing the forums for the 24 hours though, I’ve seen a lot of people threatening to do so, so I’m wondering what the actual damage looks like.

I didn’t even know what DPK was, I had to look it up on the forums.

Most likely. My finals are coming up soon and I almost don’t have anytime to play now. I was making plans to go hardcore on my July Break but it seems I’ll have to find something else to do
If for some miracle I get into the game by tonight I’ll stay. Otherwise just gonna move on, theres too many games out there waiting to be played.
Also if i cant log in today i am off i put a few bucks and got a token and a costume and now i am block out and lose 2 days of token on the weekend is just too bad.

To be honest, I don’t fully get the fuss.
They’ve been explaining from the beginning how they will keep some people temporarily banned in order to verify more carefully what they did and how they got the drops…
Whether you abused it or you were just unlucky and got several drops when you shouldn’t have doesn’t change the fact they have to check it al. Personally when I logged on the PC today I was half expecting to be temporarily banned even though I didn’t exploit this DPK bug.
I understand that it’s annoying because it takes so long (and I do hope they’ll get back the cubes on some players they “forgot” or “missed”), but they’re all making it sound like it’s the end of the world when it was just expected.
Before the patch i bought shade boots(plate) for 15m and now i feel it isnt worth for 5m. Fck IMC. IMCancerers.
It’s in part taking so long because they appear to have decided to just go home for the weekend instead of continuing to fix it, leaving all the suspended accounts up in the air. (hence the “it will be a minimum of 4 days” reply they are giving to everyones’ tickets)
As a working employee who knows that when a job must be done, you finish that job even if it entails working on the weekend, that just strikes me as really lazy, irresponsible, and downright reprehensible work ethic.
Yeah, if people keep their battle bracelets, monster gems and purple cubes, after they blocking my account just because of some lvl 315 mats, I don’t see why I should still keep playing, if they do delete everything from everyone tho, it’s okay, but I did spend with the game, so if I’m going to quit because of they doing ■■■■ I want a refund.
You know best solution? Server wipe! :3 since everyone cant agree on something IMC should just wipe and start over a clean slate if they still alive after doing it of course

IMC investgating people who might have illegit items and temp(!) banning them until the issue is resolved, which is standard procedure in most online games to prevent people from destroying evidence or altering the account state:
everyone complains “OMG IMC how dare you investigate illegit items in a proper manner? You suck! I quit.”
@IMC : It would be cool if you give people who lose token time a 7 day token so while they might lose items they don’t lose any token time they paid for.
What I really want to understand is, how can something like this cause a person to experience such levels of anger and negativity? The negative reactions I’m seeing in many of these threads seems to be quite over the top and excessively sensationalized/dramatic, but maybe I’m missing something that’s keeping me from being able to understand the severity of it all.
I didn’t exploit ■■■■, my account is fine, and I get a shitload of compensation items. Meanwhile some angry asshat neckbeards got a minor slap on the wrist. Seems fine, what a dumb thing to quit over.

You must be new… The people that exploited still have their ■■■■, The people that accidentally hit and looted a mob with broken DKP are being held for 4-7 days because IMC decided they need a break.
