What do you think?.
Could they cause some problems to ToS or do you think it’s safe from them and will have a good population making the game live for years from now?.
Oh Mirror mirror on the wall.
Tell me who’s the one~
…
Seems broken?
Seriuosly.
No one can say, these gather to different type of gamers anyways xD.
Like how Crowfall is an purely pvp teamplay oriented.
(Which i love too)
Uniqueness makes game worth ot play.
Good Combat.
People to have fun with.
xD
I kept to RO not because of the good graphic, the “fun” grind or pvp.
But because i had friends, comrades and enemies.
I felt alive, inside a game. Nourishing myself, while laughing and crying.
It’s just like real life, sadly many new games are so … soloist elitest mindset …
The fun happens, when you have fun together xD.
Eh yup I know it’s a stupid question but the wait is killing me lol.
I can’t say for others, but for me Black Desert and BnS, in fact any 3D (first person) is freaking boring, BnS not even to count, i was hyped about it when it was announced, now that i got to go into the CBT didn’t stayed 10 mins and uninstalled, didn’t changed a thing, no innovation, what i mean is, in any game, at least for me, the first minutes are important, its like when you are working outdoors, your looks is your business card, but if you offer nothing good even tho you look good no one will buy a thing from you.
I can’t talk about BDO since i didn’t had a chance to play.
So far, nothing pick my interest, i was waiting for Lineage Eternal, but unfortunately it was postponed the development.
Lost Ark picked my interest, i’m waiting to see how it goes too, i do really love Isometric View games so i’m always looking for those.
I don’t think you should worry too much about the competition yet.
The thing to worry about first and foremost is whether TOS kills itself first…
You got probably… 6 months min more to go xD.
Relax and enjoy the ride or go to KOBT.
Accounts are up for the grab if you google a bit …
But i would rather wait and have the ktoster … be our guinea pigs xD.
IMC will want to do they’re version for us right xD.
Black Desert has more than 100,000 bought the game. It is a Buy to Play game, but there will be a cash shop (should not be pay to win items, since the game is bought).
Black Desert is not for everyone. It is much much more complicated with Node/Resource management. It is an upgrade of ArcheAge, but difficult to understand. It is for sure not an average gamer would play, and not everyone would like it.
However, it is more polish, at least the first 50 levels in the CBT has no major bug that crash your game (no known skill that will crash the game). You can hire a worker and do the gathering for you within the simulate world, and I do not find bugs with it. Collision detection for bandit to block your trade route, and etc. So far it is good.
Black Desert is a free coat of paint on the generic mmorpg, you might argue that there customization is unbelievable, but from what I’ve seen, it’s pretty terrible in comparison to other games, hell even dynasty warriors and samurai warriors have better customization, souls series has better customization.
In black desert, you’re the same generic dip wad as the next guy only you look slightly different.
Blade and soul has been coming for a long time, quite frankly it’s just outdated at this point. Not only that but it’s most just fan service, no real innovations going on there.
No innovations in either of them actually, they’re both pretty generic with a new coat of paint, and it’s not even the good paint, it’s whatever was left over from Just Cause 2.
Not for me, TOS at least runs in my toaster. But i have to admit that both seems very enjoyable especially Black Desert.
I find the same thing. Except for me enjoying 2.5D battle, the feature and endgame are better in Black Desert.
I don’t understand the OP. What is BnS suffering with?
Lol, you guys probably don’t even know how the combat system works in BnS, to say they have no innovations.
It’s the 5th most played game in korea and an esports material for a reason…
I just finished watching multiple videos based entirely on B&S combat, what’s so innovating about it?
It doesn’t matter if it’s an esport, there’s still nothing innovating about it.
watching a video and playing is two different things. the combat in BnS feels like your playing a fighting game on a console. There are a myriad of combos that you can pull off. I’m not advocating people to play it. But for anyone to get a good idea, they would have to experience it.
The argument here is if the combat is innovating, which in actual fact, it is not. There’s nothing new about it.
What other games have you seen that come close the deep combat system of BnS? I would like to be enlighten since I have not seen any games.
Literally any fighting game that takes itself seriously.
You know for someone that’s basing their information entirely on feelings and not actual evidence, you seem pretty sure of yourself.
Unless of course you have factual evidence as to the depth of the combat system?
It’s my opinion, i don’t care what Korea like to play, what innovation is there on the combat system? Skyforge have similar one, e-sports? Pft, in all honesty that is not an attractive for me.
C9 have the same thing, and it’s an even older game, other game that had the same was Rusty Hearts too. I’m looking for a RPG, not a fight game, if i want a fight game i will go play Street Fighter.
Coincidentally, Wildstar do have a combo system too, some skills only activate after hitting with other first.
The list is above.

Indeed, BnS has been voted for the best innovation (related to combat).
