Not to mention how easy bots are to spot in ToS because they farm predictable spawns like Red Kepa, constantly auto attacking even when there is nothing to attack.

i mean, ktos isnt dead. its just dyingā€¦ and thats not a good sign when it justā€¦released.

The F2P model has never worked as good in the west.
Ive seen the cycle many times that developers start off saying ā€œits not going to be P2W, no this the magical unicorn thats the exception to the ruleā€
This leads me to quote the old saying " when something sounds to good to be true it likely is"

This being said we can likely get 2years of game time out of this game before its time to jump ship as the slippery slope has made it more and more P2W.
The better it does at release the longer it stays away from P2W

This is my prediction using my head rather then my heart.

My definition of pay to win:
Its the relationship between 1h ingame progress compared between a paying user and non paying user once the disparity grows to large its pay to win.
Id say 100h=1h is for sure a P2W game.

Yeah I looked up reddit earlier and there are some very constructive posts describing the current problems in KTOS, which made me very concerned. It basically comes down to 2 major problems - game being boring and pvp imbalances. I can stand the latter because RO wasnā€™t balanced at all- some classes like bard, dancer, merchant are just not meant for combat and I respect the innovation. As long as the game is fun. I really donā€™t careā€¦ which leads to the first problem, that they describe it being boring. I donā€™t understandā€¦ I mean RO was just as repetitive and grindy, yet I still played it for years and had so much fun. How is TOS different than RO in the character progression aspect? because it seems to be better in every way. I wonder if itā€™s because players are getting older and canā€™t stand the grind, or maybe this game is lacking in the social aspect?

with current state of KTOS if ITOS isnt any different i dont think it will do very wellā€¦ besides i hear rumours that lost ark is comming lol
