Will this game dying soon after F2P?

More BOT with out restriction.
More Spam.
More RMT.

I am ok with P2P but guess it won’t be coz money drive economy and game server…

P2P makes less money than F2P

but yes, this game will totally die the second F2P hits.
you should quit now before it takes you down with it.

It isn’t as simple as you think for this game to die. This was a higly hyped game, of course gold sellers would try to spread their roots as soon as the games was released.

But you know what? for the same exact reason why it was flooded with bots and gold sellers, is why it isn’t going to die. People love this game, and while there are players willing to spend their time and enjoy the game, it isn’t going to die.

Of course, there are bots now, there are gold sellers and spammers now, there are trading and market restrictions now (to try and counter those bots/sellers and control economy until a permanent solution is inplemented), point is, these are things that can be fixed, and i believe they will.

Believe in the greatness of this game, because now it is a brute diamond that just needs to be polished by the staff that created it, and the community that enjoys all the good times they have in the game.

Well, look at old case Dofus (Wakfu) SEA Server when start up and people really hyped just 1-2 years ago, I remember player base and forum really active with 10000+ of player base in SEA server alone.

After BOT and RMT went in, SEA server dying fast and have to merge with Inter. server in Steam.

Right now, their player base only 600-1200…

And I forgot to mention Archeage too which had more extreme problem of BOT and RMT.

SEA, sure, dofus merged, but now let’s ask, for how long have Dofus excisted?

It only started 2004, and its still running.

And it’s not all because of the bots, most players plays with 8 clients at the same time, making it a singleplayer game, people who doesnt has a hard time finding a party.

Just because one region fails miserably doesnt mean all has to follow the same lead.

I’ll be completely honest, I don’t think this game will survive for a month if they don’t completely remove the ridiculous trading, storage, and market house restrictions. All three of what I listed are basic MMO functions that every player expects to use in this time of game. The fact that no one can trade a friend, transfer items to other accounts, and limit what can be put up for sale . . . . . is really not going to fly. We know what they are trying to do but it is effecting the game more than helping it. Gold sellers are still in the game, creating drama, farming for money, doing whatever they can do to cheat the system. Find another way to do it and fast.

If the Developers do not remove all of the restrictions before the 28th, I kind of want the game to fail. It was a stupid thing to do in the first place. When almost the entire community gives them backlash for it, removing restrictions on trading, storage, and the auction house should be a priority AFTER the report the bot function.

yes, game is clearly dead, please quit now and show us the way.

never mind that they’ve already posted that they intend to make changes to both of these, nope gotta remove it right now.

lol: The Developers better do what i say, or i’ll get really mad and tell my daddy!

this is laughable. you sure don’t live up to your name “love” dove.

And that answer a lot Dofus start 2004 like you said and it still survive since it never go F2P.

Now look at Wakfu SEA F2P? Dead. Wakfu Steam? 800 player on average.

maybe not on after f2p start the game will die but one thing for sure if they didn’t do any changes it will have very short time out there that’s how i see it

Wakfu reached an extremely low population, and people started moving to APAC because it was f2p, later, the other servers went f2p model too, they were forced to because apac got all players.

And the way i see it, its not because its a f2p model wakfu has dropped players, its the game itself. Im certain they just dont know what to prioritize.

At start the game was supposed to be an mmo sandbox game, but have a look at wakfu, its barely what they wanted it to be, the game simply went out of their hands.

**And french wakfu servers are still p2p, and one of the french servers has a bigger population than nox+remington together.

So i suppose there are better qualities over there.

Eventually if the contents get bore and item getting out of hand will make the game dead as usual like other MMO…
Now the market is already flooded bots stocking which lead players cant really farm enough for the demand of silver…
Yes not all join the game with 10 RL friends to complete the game in no time so end-up only those groups will stay while the game slowly decrease…

i just say, i open 10 boss box and receive 10 talts, this is not an good rewarding system if the runs are limited to 2 (and 3 for token users) they should increase the drop ratio

Yes everyone know the game is not for casual gamers, If you believe in RnG or super hard-core grind or luck you choose…
They wanna make it only the lucky hell-gate fellow to get the item, even they reduce to 1 time per day, we also need to goes thru RnG…

PRAISE THE ALMIGHTY RnGESUS!

All in all, I think most of hardcore or hyped player are already jump in early access, put hundred to thousand of hour in game while BOTTER still require to purchase new ID in order to expand their wealth even some got banned but it’s profit sure viable.

Just hope IMC got solution for it before F2P otherwise there will be no more barrier to prevent this downfall coz I feel like watching fast forward of GW2 that I quit since it switch from B2P to F2P.

lol. are these people time traveling?
the game has only been live for about 500 hours.

putting in 2 hours of play for every hour, and skipping sleeping and eating on top of that. these people are solid workers.

They are indeed solid workers in cyberlife, but they miss out a lot in the Real-life too, so its give and take issue…

the foreign version doesn’t seem to be doing too well but we never know ToS may end up successful here however we really need better pvp and pve content to encourage players to stay.

of course we really need something done about the botters or implent something like ragnarok where hitting the monster that was hit by another player give no exp (so if you hit it first, the exp gain goes to you which made iro botters change target if it was hit by another player)

ragnarok had mvp monsters, those really powerful monsters that usually take more than 2 people to kill… we need some strong single player bosses that requires a party similar to wow raids but less time consuming of course.

Yes, you better leave right now and save yourself trouble.

Always the same bullshit at the start of every game.
