Why were players using the TBL bug treated the same as channel crashers?

I’d like to know why a few players got banned for 30 days for entering TBL/dungeon/mission to reset the mystical cube timer, actually, we didn’t get banned for this, we got banned because it was decided that everyone who had resetted the timer through any method and opened the cube deserved the same level of punishment. There are people who got banned after somebody else crashed the channel and they noticed the timer resetted, so they opened it. Such a rigorous process.

The same bug happened a few weeks after R8 release during the VGA errors nightmare and many people used it to get their practs, nobody got any sort of punishment, and it makes sense because the playerbase wasn’t actively doing anything extraordinary to cause the reset.

Then, this exploit that lets people actually manipulate the game happens and everybody deserves the same? I don’t think it’s fair at all. Players who didn’t participate in channel crashing to reset and reopen the cube should at least get shorter bans.

This is a video game not some court. IMC doesn’t need rigorous processes to decide who fits the ban and not. They can choose to restrict your account whenever they like, for whatever reason they want.

Stop complaining and accept the bans.

Yes, but that gives a bad rep to the company, who’d like to play a game where players get bans for whatever? See the part “as we deem” necessary? It’s a clear mistake from their part to give the same bans to everyone who resetted and reopened the cube, which just shows that the case was not far too clear cut, as they claim.

I’m not even saying that we shouldn’t get banned, but that we do not deserve the same treatment as people who crashed channels to actually dupe items, the TBL/instances bug just made it so you could get the pract faster, it is by no way the same offense.

Well I kinda can understand him…

-Some people don’t think much more when they end up in a chanel crash and see their box reset… They just think oh cool, somehow my box reset !
-People who exploit the TBL bug to reset, don’t got anything (Maybe because people could think it was a feature or because the would have punish people from participing)… Soo why player that just happen to be there doing their thing when the chanel crash also get their account ban.
-People who happen to be in multiple succesive crash and open multiple time the box… Yeah, they deserve a tempory ban because it probably one of their friend who did the crash / it was organized.

Overall, people who just happen to be here shouln’t be ban, the reason for the ban shouln’t be the bug on mystery box but on the chanel crasher and their friend using their crash. (I Kinda understand is might be a little harder to find out who use the crash of other player to abuse it)
