If it’s no ingame poll, it’s worth nothing.
Found it
It was posted on both official forums and steam discussion. Yes, it is close. However the majority still goes to no resets.
It’s basic psychology here actually.
People who have really loud mouths and never shut up about something, they will attract a few other people. Suddenly 10 people out of 20,000 are perceived as an “authority” on the subject who “speak for the majority”.
It’s pretty easy to see a few loud mouths ranting about something to get the wrong idea that that’s what the community wants. That’s why private polls and other forms of gathering private opinions are important to get a real idea.
Some of my friends actually rly stopped playing… I only saying it because ppl don’t believe it is actually happening and will ahppen.
They are not casuals at all. They are just not the type… like most of us… who would want to play with a ■■■■■■ up build or have that much time to reroll everytime they mess up something…
…oh and as I know they didn’t even mess up anything yet… it was just the constant struggle if they are doin it right or wrong…
Also one of my friends mentioned that it is not rly an enjoyable game if you have to do 90% of the research outside of it and you can’t learn stuff ingame. What is somewhat true. You actually have to do much more research for this game than for others… I would actually say you already need more research for ToS than for Ragnarok just for an example…
As ranks, balancing and other misunderstood synergies are coming… more and more ppl will leave. You can say freely you don’t care…but that won’t make it better for the game itself.
Also again… There are ways for the reset that couldn’t hurt anyone…but would make the game itself more friendly so why the ■■■■ ppl are against it?
I feel like a lot of ppl just jumping on the bandwagon now… and don’t even want to think of a solution that is maybe even good for everyone…
but the funniest part is that 1-2 more ranks and they will be the ones who cry the loudest here…
I will make a video called:
WHY PEOPLE NEED TO USE THE ■■■■■■■ SEARCH BUTTON
I would totally watch it and spread it all over the world.
By the way : I’m one of those who had to reroll because picking random classes lead me to an unplayable character, but that was MY FAULT and not the game one’s. So now I rerolled and everything is cool with my life. Plus, I discovered things while I was rerolling.
The majority out of 580 people.
Let me tell you something, ok ? Let’s see the demographic for ToS. People who like mmos, people who aren’t put off by the graphic style, people who enjoy grinding and people who like building up their character. What you are advocating for is to make the demographic even smaller by adding people who don’t mind ‘‘wasting’’ hours of their time by rerolling, because a choice they made crippled their character for 15 class levels and possibly for the rest of the game, people who don’t mind spending hours on google researching their class and people who don’t mind running meta specs.
It doesn’t have to be a complete reset, it can be restricted to let’s just say the first 5 class levels. Don’t like what this class is doing or how it synergizes with your build ? Sure, do a quest and reset it and loose all the exp you invested in it, however if you go past class level 5 you are stuck with it for good. Does that not sound reasonable ?
…this is literally what i suggested in my post. I guess you didnt actually read it.
As for what you said before that, i still stand by what i wrote.
lol you even posted a video. Kudos for commitment. But no. Also free views for the video… smart fvcker
They could make it so that you can reset only your current class, That way if the new class you choose not work as you think it would, You still can change to other class, I don’t see any harm in that.
Or just add more detail to skill/class description! What the point of making it so vague anyway?

Class reset will happen, it’s just when will it happen that makes me afraid the more you wait the more player you loose:
Do you have any plans to develop a class or rank reset potion?
A. Creating a character in TOS involves making choices about stats, skills, attributes, classes, and many other things. It is possible to revert a character’s entire state to what it was like the day before, for example, but rolling back their class or skills while maintaining the level and stats intact is not an easy task. We will, however, consider making it possible to give up class advancement quests to allow picking a different class.
Lol this dude, made a own build on a game where you can’t reset builds and aspect things to work while he has no idea how things really work.
Dude isn’t going to last long in real life this way.
Now he learned it the hard way.
Good luck rerolling bro.
It won’t ever happen. you are just deluding yourself. class reset has never ever happened anywhere. It’s a broken concept by itself.
Why not directly introduce a instant win potion.
Hmm people are discussing something that IMC will never implement. Again.
And the majority of players are against this. So no, IMC won’t change their mind.
Here how it’s gonna go down.
TOS won’t be the next wow, so they wont have a constant money pipe coming to the major action holder of the companie.
So at some point the people that gave money to see the game debvelop will “strongarm” the developper to add feature in the game that will allow to give more income.
Since class reset is actully the most demanded stuff (how many thread do you see on the forum for new skin ? for how many do you see for class reset), they will add it.
Even if it goes against the game design intention of the dev, because dev aint ■■■■ in the video game industrie, people that holds the money, holds the decisions.
