So OP, what build did you go that makes you want this?

If you could reset your classes, everyone would level up as the easiest to level up class then class change to the most wanted class at endgame, it would ensure that in a game with so many class paths, that it would become one of the least complex games in existence.

J.J.God if you want to quit the game so badly, just do it, why wait until they make it so the game only has 1 build per class? Then you would complain about lack of content. That’s what would happen if there were advancement resets. Just quit now, don’t wait.

the guy in the video talked a way to prevent this, so, I will not respond

lol, I not talked about that, I just posted a video I found on youtube

You must be a HUGE white knight to say something like that

You know what? I actually agree with you, i mean, i don’t watched the video but the fact is, once you have a rank 8 EVERYTHING can chance, builds these days are based on the current meta but in the way that TREE OF SAVIOR ESPECIFICALLY is made you just can’t predict what to do in order to achieve what you really want, i mean, in RO for example, if you follow the archer path, later on you will choose a more damaging class or a supporting class like bard, and from that choice things will add up in a way that they will synergise with your choice, but in ToS this is just not that siimples, every single rank opens a whole new world of possibilities, one single skill from one specific class can change the whole use of your build, so as things are in ToS i think this is kind of a fair thing to have, or at least a one time change.

People who use the term white knight are kids with no lives and live with their mommies and daddies.

Far from a white knight.

The only way you would want an advancement reset option is if you wanted to quit the game, so why wait?

You’re clearly so bored of the game that you want to ONLY experience the content to 280 and not make any alts (because why would alts even be needed if you can reset at will?)

So you want the game to have one week of content so you can quit sooner, so why not just quit now? Seems illogical to keep playing a game you don’t want to play.

The opposite could also be true though… I’d be more willing to try some crazy mess knowing that little time that I do have to play during my week isn’t a complete waste. Then again, ToS is about the destination and not the journey which is a design flaw that makes the issue that much more annoying.

The game may not need a reset potion or whatever, but there should definitely be more to this game than just shooting from level 1 to 280.

People would still have alts… Even in games where such a feature exists, people still have alts. I played DN for quite sometime and I swapped my glad to a ML and still made a Reaper, Sniper, etc etc. Don’t be making up some booty excuses lol.

The worst argument is that circle reset will allow a more friendly game for new or inexperienced players. The real benefits will be for hardcore players that can powerlevel their alts with good gear and a cookie-cutter build and then respec for something useful for GvG or ET.

This will not be helpful for “casual” players because they can have an infinite amount of resets but if they don’t understand the core mechanics and classes they will keep rolling “meta builds” without understanding what is happening.

They’re going to implement a reset potion but, watch, it will be like $20 then the forums will change from “we need a class reset” to “LOWER THE DAMN PRICE OR I QUIT” <— 5 times a day at least.

If class reset is real, I would stop playing this game ASAP. :joy:

Please stop this bs… it would only happen with a badly designed reset… Don’t be so narrow minded!..

A reset would be totally fine…it just have to be done in the right way.

I think it’s fair to say that people’s faith in IMC doing anything the “right way” is very low.

You are talking about a company that removed buyback option from NPCs because it was exploitable and, instead of fixing the exploit, they just kept it removed and never mentioned it again lol.

Well… I can accept this argument… but that just makes it sad… because there would be ways to do things right…

Another class reset pleading thread… added to the pile.

Lets see the facts:

*Skills are still no good, without the information need, bugged, unbalanced and they may change/rebalance/nerf any time.

*Possible more classes and R8.

*A lot of others games offer free respec after major changes.

If the game was as a “finished product” that would only get some tweaks, yeah, it would be the players fault for not looking for more information. Now they bring a patch that brings new classes, R8, relabances, making your build no good like for instance A LOT OF Swordmans that HAVE TO waste a rank for pelt C1. Thats our fault? We should be punished for it? Throw away hours of gameplay and start over every time? I think there are a lot of players that cant afford play 10h/d to reroll over and over. But im sure they are willing to pay for it. “Time is money” Dont you have time to play, then pay.

Well, whatever, anyways its up to the company. They need money to keep running and im sure they know who have money.
