About 60% of Cannoneer builds I see have Falconer as a previous pick. Why is this? Does Falconer synergize with Canonneer in a way? Or do players only do it because they both have AOE skills? If so, that seems kind of pointless since Canonneer C2 and C3 should have more AOE of their own. Thanks for any response.

Circling increases AoE ratio. Cannoneer’s abilities are all AoE.
Circling + Cannoneer = Mass destruction
