Why do people say that the game only really starts after lvl 220?

this game really never demands anything of you until you hit that r7 and xp wall. If people are gonna give up, this is the spot.

that wrong, it only starts after level 240.

Because you can literally easily level to 220 without doing any grind at all. You are pretty much forced to grind if you wanna get higher. This is supposed to be a monster grind game actually in case you forget.

People still grind? There is literally 0 grind needed to get to 315 @_@…

Also, probably because for some builds (full support) this is where they would need to party up to clear content.

The next high barrier being 240 (Storage/Maven grinding/questing) and 280 (Cave and District 8), the latter being a “YOU MUST PARTY” for almost every build.

how about leveling from 315-330?

yeah, because most tos players are solo players who’d get annoyed with most R8 quests, grinding is still popular as you can see in alemeth lol

you can just casual mission it out. daily mission gives you up to 6m exp. Assuming you don’t want to card.

(if you hit a x3 you can get 18m per day it will last you most likely 4-10 days 3-5 min per run)

Takes about 4-5 days to level once and at 320 about 10 day. without x3.

siau mission at lv 300+ will still give 200k exp per boss right?

Well im not sure about questing for cards. It sounds so boring that I’ve never bother to do any quests. One big problem levelling through questing is you dont get silver. I’m sure questing will be a nice suggestion if they were to reward players with more silver rather than exp cards or some equipments/potions…but of course this could lead to silver farming using quest bots.

450k with 50% bonus from team

You do get silver infact the later one gives more.

For example my SR starts 2.5m questin from 185 mokusul to maven fully gives me up to 5.2m in 2 day total gain 2.7m

I see. Thanks for the info. Maybe I should try questing. By the way, how fast is the levelling through questing compare to levelling through grinding using x8 tome?

if you are 240 ish,

(took me about 24 ish hours of play time to hit maven from mokusul) just quest and full explore

I end up being about 265~270. This includes (Story quest kalejima side not done)

This is highly dependent on the spec you are rolling. For Swordies will be generally a little longer prolly expect 30 hours total + - For archers and AOE will be way easier and faster.

For FS/Chrono type best bet to fasten is either grind or pass to tag along in quests.

It will accelerate the party doing quests faster. Since most of the quests do have their share quests fixed.

Just do some questing, they’ll benefit you in the long term or even immediately. The cards start to give huge amount of exp but you’ll need a party to do those quests. Personally, rushing to 290 and 317 are more important to me than the 320-330 wall.

Just take note, you’ll need septyni glen main quest to unlock tevhrin and tyla monastary quest to unlock city wall district quests.

you also need to do the grynas trails- hills quest line along with tyla to unlock city wall 8

You also need to finish klapedia quest until on the bramble main quest to unlock cave btw.

(inner wall and cave quest is cancer)

1-100 pretty easy pretty fun have a lot of mob easy to kill
101-200 It’s casual and balance still fun sometime but lack of mob in some map with a lot of stupid rng quest.
201-280 It’s become pretty hard but still acceptable even mob hp grown pretty none sense jump from 40000 to 80000+. Your party don’t req much setup right now. But you don’t have any fun by fight with a lot of mob by solo anymore except you are meta build like elememe.
281+ world of worst system. Mob hp jump from 100k to 200k-500k force ppl to use transcendent system. pretty unbalance and become worst game ever.

The answer is easy: Playing Archer is playing easy mode of the game. If you want to play hard mode play Cleric/Swordsman instead of Wizard (medium) or Archer (easy).
Archers are way too strong in this game, especially considering their fast Aspd, high range and high base damage of auto attacks in contrast to blunt/polearm/sword damage. In general Bows&Crossbows should have the slowest Aspd : Sword>Blunt>Pole=Bow>Crossbow to counter this contrast, but somehow IMC seem to have forgotten to put this mechanics ingame(instead, they even gave Aspd buff to Kneeling Shot while Clerics&Swordsmen have no Aspd buff…).

This is basically why the real game starts from lvl 220 onwards, because you can’t just hit&run that well anymore without heavy equip investments. Magic mobs will basically kill you faster than you can look with their 500-1200 damage magic attacks, and monsters will start to use annoying status effects(sleep, stun e.g.) more often.
