Who like of idea of Latin America server!?

If I wish leave my server for a new one with char lvl one I say: -No ty! What’s wrong with you? Who wish it!? If you wish create a new server for whom don’t like of BRs, make it, “Without BR server” is your choice, how many people will really play on it!?

I play competitive games, do you know what!? A lot of toxic players, but in games like Dota, that players can make you lose the game if they are in your team, in Tos what they can do!? Just nothing! If someone makes offence just ban for lifetime, worth it!?

USA hates Russian, Chinese hates Japanese, Latin america hates Peruvians, so what!? Do the guys ll do a server for Russian haters, Japanese, maybe a server for christian, protestants, why not!? Your attitude do not make any sense.

My 1st impression about Tos: You guys need revise your concepts.

I don’t know… if the lag is better certainly i’ll move. If not, i’ll keep playing on Gabija with my Cryomancer. Also, yesterday i never saw so many Toxic/Xenophobic people in the global chat, Jesus…

Honestly, I wish the GMs would hop on the servers and just mercilessly ban those who’re causing this kind of trouble. They need to be working on removing the problem (the toxic players) instead of creating a workaround.

The server is not on Latin America, its just the same server for all world, but for Latin American user’s.

Also playing on Gabija. Then at certain hours like 90% of the chat is br hating only… How can they complain about BR not speaking english when you barely see them in chat at all? Honestly, all I see is racist (mainly us- people) bashing the BRs…
When it’s morning in Europe, and most american people sleeping, it’s like almost peaceful, lol

Lol relax man, you still lose your char at the end of beta, so why make such a hassle for this?

The staff is trying to make a solution for those who can’t even play the game because of lag. They already said that you can stay on the server you want, so stop crying.

I like the idea of Megaphones removal, but it’s not a big deal. Global is open cuz megaphones are given away. In release they won’t just give megaphones to everyone for free.

Thats not a way to solution the lag/bug/delay, it’s a banish way, to solve disagreements involving players, the post site says exactly it, so I ll not stop of crying, that’s unfair, I make a Char for play 1 month not 2 week, if you don’t care, delete your char after 2 week’s of Beta, is too much easy talk about others without caring, take dimension of empathy.

man, i don’t know much about it, but in the announcement the staff were talking that the reason about making the latin american server was the conflict between players, as it goes:

"Recently, some arguments and conflicts between the testers from different countries or regions came to our attention.

As you already know, our testers are from all over the world and no matter what your nationalities are, we really hope all of you to get along with each other well without any arguments or conflicts. (However, it seems that some of you are not getting along with each other well.) We recommend you to think of this CBT as your opportunity to get to know people from the other countries in the world.

We have noticed that a large proportion of our fans are from Latin America so we’ve decided to open a separate Latin American server for our Latin American fans."

Here in Brasil we have a saying that can be translated in something like “whiners must withdraw”(os incomodados que se retirem), and that is why i agree with @Mercurial_BR, a man have to priorize those whom are not “bitching”, you can’t discriminate the latin americans just becouse they were talking in their native language, it is a natural asset to the human, some of us can’t understand very well the english but still wants to play.

That is a terrible heritage of Brazilian culture and if you work it a bit more it basically means that someone can do whatever they want, even if it means annoying others (I’ve been there several times and am right now in Brazil, a big problem in all places I went is people not respecting night silence for example). It doesn’t do much good for the country and implications of this line of thought is what generated the BRs uncanny worldwide fame when it comes to gaming.

Now, about the server, I’m not sure what to think about it. ToS beta is quite clearly “international”, so seeing other languages and such was expected and I don’t agree with the outcry about that. Yes, I know English is usually considered the global language and such but people need to get down to earth and see that quite a lot of people can’t really speak English.

On the other side, it seems quite a lot of players are from the LA region (it might be a bit less than people think as they’re usually more vocal in mmos) and I guess there might be many who would appreciate a place where they won’t have language backlash. I doubt the server will be outside USA for the CBT so there shouldn’t be any ping related benefits. Another possible benefit would be better load division, but I wonder if that interests IMC when we’re in a beta and they’ve got a chance to stress test servers.

As of right now, I think that as long as its not forced, its probably a valid experience. Also, I wonder what will be the transfer ratio.

Well, in fact this brazilian “saying” can be worked to let people annoy as much as they wish, but that is a bad use of it (a lot of people, not excluding BRs, misuses the “rules”, i really feel you in the case of the night silence, it is like hell) should be interpreted as a favor for the ones that do not made any harm and still getting pushed.

Anyway, about the server, several BRs seems to enjoy the idea of a new sever and a bunch of communities were wishing for a LA server on the game release, after a quick look in the annoucements of IMC and in the comments of the Latin Americans i think that can be a good thing to make a LA server, especially for who can’t talk in english (talking about myself here too, never visited another country and didn’t studied the grammar).

A friend of mine were saying that he rather like to PvP someone with the same ping issues then some who has a good ping. so no ping benefits but even odds instead.

i’m just feel sorry to know the reason of a new sever was language backlash and nationalities conflicts.

I’m Brasilian too, but my opnion is different.
In my life with games I see that 50% of brasilians players are Trols, because this the others 50% came to the international games.
And a few of players have a lot of ping, then the Latin American server is a only option for they plays.

But this no is reason to exclude every Brasilian player.

O sever n obriga os jogadores brasileiros à mudar pra lá. vc pode continuar no anterior, por isso que eu acho que n é tao terrivel assim…mas, verdade seja dita, a implicância conta a gente foi o motivo pra isso, pros caras “é muito desrespeitoso falar em português no chat global”, frescura da porra. eu vejo como retrocesso pro teste do jogo, tipo é um beta, é tra testar o quanto o server aguenta, não faz sentido algum separar os jogadores, mas talvez seja melhor assim.

The latin american server will not exclude the brazilian players, it is not mandatory migrate to the new sever. you can keep in the previous server, thats why i think it is not a big deal. however, the truth behind the new server it’s hate against BRs, “because it’s disrespectful talk in portugese on the global chat”. Does not make much sense separate the players in a Beta for me, but maybe is a good thing.
