Which stat is better for ROGUE to solo map lv 250+?

With A i have:
+264 more Patk and Crit atk

With B i have:
+159 more Crit rate and evasion

which one is better for ROGUE to solo map lv 250+?
How much DPS that i lost if i pick B route?

I just realized today during mission if i party with provoker, my sneak hit will works perfectly, even for mobbing.

to seifer0692: sorry, I shall automatically ignore all your comments in my thread, UNLESS you can upload a video proving your theorycrafted-build in action, like iDreamy’s, Nicola’s and many others.

Go for 31 cons Instead of 30 cons for that bonus stats.

If you have werewolves cards first one would be better. I’m not sure how reliable it is though. Heard there’s a bug or something. @greyhiem

I’m not an expert with Rogue but A build is good if you can constantly hit it from the back (lol) + cards. I think you are better with Plate set.

  • Higher Damage
  • Faster clearing speed
  • Required Cards
  • Higher learning curve = less evasion + back crit.
  • Might need higher cons. But I’m sure you are a great player :stuck_out_tongue: so I think 31 is fine.
  • Expenses = cards, Higher LV green gems (if you want to), repair cost.
  • Have to dodge skills / higher chance of getting knock down / play-it-safe mode? required you to move more.

Build B: great for most Archer (except wugu, QS etc.) (leather set)

  • Don’t need to rely on back-crit/cards as much.
  • higher survivalbility dued to Evasion + knock down
  • Can play a little more offensive.
  • A little boost damage from leather gloves + boots if you have virtov
  • Lower damage if you have and can constantly crit with back crit + cards.

if you have Cards and can constantly can get back crit Build A would benefit more. Higher skill cap ofc. if you want to solo.
Build B is great for all around. With new weapon coming out [quote=ā€œandyrt_23, post:1, topic:327204ā€]

This isn’t much if you look at the new weapon. Crit attack won’t benefit you if you can’t back crit or have cards. Dex seems to scale better with new content…but Rogue is a weird class lol.

TL;DR If you have cards and can back crit go with Build A. if not go with Build B.

Upon what’s your Rogue. You mean RogueC1 RogueC2 or RogueC3 ? it’s total different gameplay for me.

I wonder what will happen in the future(around rank 9-10). When we don’t need either DEX(cap)/STR(weapon+base) … maybe we need to put remain point to Con like wiz?

yes, i am a great player, first time i do siau mission at lv 100 i just used 5 soul crystal per run, hehe
for build B which i admit imitate yours, why do you recommend leather set instead of plate? with virtov plate armor pants+grynas boot+max plate mastery will gives you 4000+ more HP to subsitute the lack of CON

sorry forgot to add the detail, i just use rogue c1 in my build

Just personal pref you can’t go wrong with plate too :stuck_out_tongue: nothing wrong with it. Since you know how much I love crit. + evasion. They scale really well with Dex. As long as you don’t get 1 shot you should be fine. Swift Step gives 15% evasion and leather mastery. If you want I can record a vid with 1100 evasion (shade set + sup. bandit boots they have low phy def.) on a high lv map vs full roxona plate (I don’t have virtov plate). I have maxed both masteries.

i think i’ve seen your video, your char almost untouched by lepusbunny in inceinte district. so… shade dancer+skirt is better than virtov leather armor+pants in PVE?

No, you should find a good balance. I just findn that 1000+ evasion I hardly ever get hit. The phy def/eva on virtov is better than low def/high eva on shade.

You’ll get hit really hard if you ā€˜do’ get hit with Shade set on. I think Virtov has a nice balance.
EDIT
Right now I’m using Virtov Leather Top Bottom and Glove (no luck with boots) and superior bandit boots.

from lv 281-330, what is your plan? invest all to STR or reach crit cap first then put the rest to STR?

I’m aiming for 70-75% crit chance against highest crit resistance boss at 330. This should leave me enough room to adjust stats with gears and hopefully not going over 100% against normal mob. Again, I do not calculate my crit chance vs 0 crit resistance like Seifer. I also didn’t calculate BiS stuff since they are most likely hard to get. My goal is around 80% and not over 100% x.x

STR seems even more useless with high weapon dmg + transcendence.

So Dex->Cons->Str

I like to depend on my own stats before party buff. 80% crit chance seems like a good number

i agree w/ @Nicola here, if you can land crits on the back or if you have cards (werewolf cards) go with Build A.

(though i thought you were rogue c3 with your title hahahaha, rogue c3 can really play with your build A and B depending on your skill setup, but for rogue c1, refer to the statement above)

Out of curiosity, what’s the rest of your build?

maybe iDreamy’s, ehehe
