Which Class Is For Me?

Hello everyone! I am having some issue with deciding what to play…& the class system in general. I’ve looked at different classes but like I mentioned, still stumped.

My playstyle usually consist of on previous games…(I like de-buffing/buffing allies. On the other note I’m more of a solo players so when I do get into a group of people I like that " wow " factor I give people if I’m actually doing good at my class (I don’t mind a challenge.)

So any recommendations on what I should play? I really hope someone can help because I really would like to start playing!

Welcome! Currently the most populated NA server is Klaipedia.

Sounds like Plague Doctor is the build for you. Coming from the cleric tree, you can naturally sustain yourself with heals.

What is Plague Doctor?

Plague Doctor mainly work by spreading current debuffs to other enemies, and does more damage the more debuffs there are.

Incineration lasts longer and ticks for longer the more debuffs are on the enemy.

There are 2 popular builds for Plague Doctor.

If you really want to focus on debuffing: Cleric 2 -> Bokor2 (or 3) -> Pardoner (to extend debuffs) and PD 2

The other one is the diev doctor build highlighted in this guide.

Read through it as it has a lot of good information.

This is not a game where you can good at specific class, it’s about no brainer meta builds.
Depends on specific purpose, you can pick inquisitor for pvp and watch everything die while you roll your face against keyboard. You can also pick 3 pyro + anything and do same in pve (when we get an update with agni).
Surprisingly swordsmans require brains in this game and they are the class which deal damage combining debuffs with specific damage type.

Hi @justinmount1994, as @jabo_nogaems cited, this game is really unbalanced, so you need to choose between meta (optimal builds) and what you like.
Do you like to help your group but play alone, that more or less inverse haha, but let go.
Almost every class is independent if you dont take the top build for buffs, so I will not consider that. Everybody says cleric, because heal skill, but clerics also lose in some points, so I would add Rune Caster too if you like wisard tree. Rune Caster is very helpfull. Plague Doctor is really good too.

Archer and Swordsman are not so much about buffs like these others.

So after what I told on the beggining of this mensage, you need to play with what you like, see videos on youtube, because as the classes still unbalanced, there is always nerfs and buffs of class that change the power of your skills.

Pyro1 > Link2 > Chrono3> Sage
Easy solo mode for early&mid game
It 's hard to kill endgame mobs , but every party need Chrono3.

OP Buff + good effect debuff
But

  • Need Daino scrolls for buff slots (Sometime).
  • Stupid people run like crazy with your buff “Haste”.
    It’s hard to use “Pass” to delete their Skill CD.
  • Say good bye to “Spiritual Chain” (Same above).
