With all the issues they got already, i doubt they will do anything. Maybe in the KR version, since the publisher might pressure them to do so.

Do they celebrate Christmas in Korea? 
Maybe like in JP, more of a business holiday than religious? Meh, i don’t really care, rather than Christmas decorations i would be more pleased if they get their ■■■■ together, new patch and the buffs removal bug is back.
Now my Pard will waste away with barely anyone buying buffs.
This game’s developers are a lost cause already.

If I recall, S. Korea has the highest percentage of Christians for it’s population compared to other asian countries. So id guess some of them do.
Christmas isn’t really a christian holiday but a pagan one (Especially pure pagan christmas tree). Jesus was not born in December 24, they just use that date to cover older pagan holiday in order to convert people more easilly. Since this is very important climatic date (Winter Solstice) all people should have their ethnic holiday in that period of time. In Korea there is Dongji (동지, 冬至) festival which starts in December 22, but since this game is inspired by balto-slavic paganism then maybe they should add balto-slavic holiday for winter solstice, which is known as Szczodre Gody in Polish, Koleda in Lithuanian, Каляды (Kaliady) in Belarusian etc. It’s also starts around December 24.
I really doubt IMC will go that deep, they will only use the normal Christmas to make, erm… milk more money.

Yeah that’s probably the most possible scenario but maybe there will be a christmas miracle and they will actually start to do something (joke xD).

Introducing a christmas theme is alot of work.
Since it would most likely require more than 7% improvement, the issue is [Resolved] by default.

would rather them ditch all events and useless costumes and start giving us new content and fixing fps.
I don’t need a costume or an event or snow theme i need better fps imc really GvG and 5v5 TBL is impossible

The winter solistice is the pagan event. Christmas is a Christian holiday that celebrates the “estimated/madeup/whatever” date of birth ofJesus Christ. Im not sure what your spiel is about.
But also if you wanna rant about randomness. It’s now just a consumerist holiday that helps stimulate the economy.
Even if, christmas absorbed many things from pagan holiday (see christmas tree - the most popular symbol of christmas), so it’s not pure christian event right now and if christians do not wanted to convert pagans it wouldn’t be in December 24. I write about it to prove that number of christians in Korea doesn’t matter, since they can just made the winter soltice event instead of christmas. Even if there weren’t any christians in Korea there still would be a possible alternative. : ) But probably there won’t be any of them, since they only added costumes and exp books.

You are kidding me right? Christmas, as we celebrate it in the modern age, is a Christian holiday that acknowledges the birth of Christ. Yes, there other holidays celebrated by other cultures/countries/religions around the same time that celebrate other things, and those holidays go by different names.
Anyways, these people are asking about Christmas. The one where they get free presents under a christmas tree. They arent talking about anything we are talking about.
So I suppose it doesnt matter. IMC GIVE US FREE STUFF IT’S HOLIDAY SEASON.

Of course meaning of christmas remains the same, which is the birth of Jesus as you said. I was talking that it’s not pure christian event in it’s form, because it have pagan customs now. You can’t call this a pure christian event if it have christmas tree, for example, because it is pagan symbol of life which was added to christian holiday in XVI century. So maybe let’s end that discussion since it bringing us to nothing? : )
IDK what you are getting at. It sounds like semantics. Am I suppose to believe because the USA is a “melting pot of different cultures and peoples over it’s history” that there is no actual USA?

IGNORE everything else about Christmas, the gift giving, the tree etc; Christmas celebrates the birth of Christ. It is a holiday of the Christendom celebrating that singular event.
If you look up the definition of Christmas, that is going to be the first thing listed anywhere.
Aren’t you the first one who said that this discussion is useless? Why you continue it then? As for USA i don’t see any connection to my words. You can say that it’s not pure ethnically but not that it doesn’t exit. As for pizza, yes it’s not pure, italian pizza. It’s new pizza which is different, of course it’s still pizza but not the same pizza as in italian tradition. Christmas are not pure christian now in it’s form because they adapted things which has nothing in common with christian religion and bible so this event is not pure christian right now. Again I’m not talking about it’s objective but it’s form. In their meaning it’s pure christian but in form it isn’t. Really why are you still continue it?
