Where will the SA server be physically located?

I would like to see some oficial reply in here. IMC, could you please post the IP here só we can test the ping? Thanks. @STAFF_Ethan @Staff_Julie @STAFF_Ines

it’ll be located somewhere in south america.

due to population and nothing else, it’ll probably be located in Brazil.

the ping will be better than to NA, though not -necessarily- by much. or maybe it -will- be a lot better. who knows.

and “physically”.

Hello @vitortaranto,

It will of course be located in South America. However, the specific location is still being debated and we’ll make an announcement as soon as we have details.

Thanks for the reply! :3

SA, they meant south africa

Waiting for transfer applications !!

Please!!! NOT BRASIL PLEASE. Its so lagging…

I am from Venezuela, and i have too much lag with Brazilian servers than US servers (actually, at US East servers i have normaly 70 to 100 ping, and Brazilian 200 to 300 ping…)

Venezuela, Colombia, Center America, and México = Mexican Servers, Colombian Servers or US East.

Chile, Brasil, Argentina, Perú, and maybe Ecuador = Brasil Servers, Chilean Servers or Argentina’s servers.

Actually, Brasil is for Brasil, i say that because i have family in Brasil, and i always go to there.

Sorry for my horrible and fatal English.

You have the right to argue, but this is not normal. You probably have a problem on ur route, as 200-300 is much more than we get from uruguay/south brazil to NA.
Also, Mexico will probably play in NA servers anyway, due to distance and so ping.
You would ruin it for the majority of the players because you have a ISP problem, this is not fair o_o

Have a server on BR is not only a problem of ping, is a hate problem, there is important % or plp that will not play on the Latin america server for been hosting on brasil

Can stand there , you will be missed just like guitar at a funeral!!!

So when is telsiai will be relocated too? Im tired of this 1.xxx ping ingame

I sorry but nope. Is not just me, people the other countrys i say (Colombia, Mexico, Center American) have the same problem with Brazilian Servers… A good example is Heroes of the Storm.

Everytime i go to Brasil, i need play with Brazilian servers because in another servers i have too much lag.

Brasil is for Brasil.

US East, Mexico or Colombia = US, Mexico, Center America, Colombia, Mexico, Caribean Countrys, etc.

Chile or Argentina or Perú = South America in general.

Te respondo en Español.

Eres de Uruguay. Uruguay está más cerca de los Servidores Brasileños de lo que está Venezuela y Colombia.

¿Cómo lo sé? Porque ya he jugado varios servers Brasileños. Hello?

I mean, sure, you can debate that brazilian server would suck for you, but if you get 70 ping on NA, why not stick with it? Venezuela is in the north of south america, pretty much central america, and as far as i know, this server is going to be SOUTH america, so i don’t really see your point.

Meanwhile all other south americans are playing at 200+ ping (unless you have fiber, which reduces to 120~150) in NA, which makes some classes literally unplayable

70-100 ping and u will still transfer to another server? if i had this ping id stay in NA server

I will stay in NA server only if the South Server is in Brasil. I have nice ping with Countrys like Colombia, Mexico etc. Remember, the question is the Community too.

If the server is in Brasil or Argentina or Chile, i will stay in NA for sure.

so u will stay in NA, cus mexico is NA…

I don’t gey your point…
You’re from Mexico (NA), new server is for South America… So whats your point here? lol
Mexico isn’t SA, nor central Central America is SA, this server isn’t LATAM anymore, only South American.
As you said, central and NA don’t have ping issues with East Cost server

No one said it will be LATAM server, instead of SA… So if server datacenter is in Brazil, Chile or what ever in south is ok
