Where will the iOBT be at content-wise?

Just wondering. All the updates in Korea in the past weeks, will we be seeing any of those in our version?

I would guess so, or at least, we would start from where they started.

I’d be really surprised that they’d already gotten around translating all the text to English with such newly-released content.

I can’t say for sure, maybe someone who is involved on the gittub project can answer, but i would take that they may have merged their own with the project.

I saw that a large majority of the new content was already translated ( i.e the gear from Earth tower ) the github team works hard, especially that one maple guy

Thats nothing that can be answered so easily…

Usally, the developer is in Korea and the international publishers are spread around the world. The Koreans are getting the new stuff first, ofc, testing, give feedback, and after some time, that content is delivered to the publishers. Thats that.

But now, IMC is the developer AND the international publisher. On top of that, they are NOT the publisher for Korea.

Since Nexon, the Korean publisher, seems to like to rush things and raising pressure on IMC to deliver content asap, its likely that we need to wait for that. At least the time it needs for actually being translatred.
But thats for “new” content as in quests and anything that actually needs a translation.

Things like bugfixes, changes of the mechanic or other stuff might be handed out immediately. Maybe even earlier so nexon gets an actually working patch.

So, who knows?

You mean Spadow? Yeah, poor thing. For a time I had the impression he was the only one doing all the translation. Idk how he wasnt driven mad yet. :confused:

OT: As others said, it all depends on the GitHub project. Looking at it, it seems things sped up a bit, I guess itll even more after OBT announcement. They had regular pulls once every 2 or 4 days. Some contributors who where MIA even showed up recently. If were lucky enough, i think we could have translated content up to Earth Tower already.

Good to hear! We’ll just have to wait and see.
