Where is the Attack Speed?

Hello everyone.
First of all, great game, really awesome and nostalgic.
I just have 1 question here.
I started playing with the archer, really great. Then ranger and later the sapper, that was the time that i noticed that when you open the character information, there is not a " attack speed" info, or how you get it to go up. It was, then, that i realised that, without attack speed, an archer is the same as a mage, just using skills to do damage. Of course the skills are different, the appearence and all, but down there it’s just the same.

Oh, and i started a mage too to see. So im not saying this based just on the archer expirience.

Am i just being noob here and putting the stats points at the wrong stats, or its like i said?

Thanks.

There is no Attack Speed Stat in this game. However, there are some skills can temporary boost your attack speed for some period of time.

Yes, i was thinking that too. But then… What is the difference between archer and mage? They just use skills, ranged, to kill the target, AoE or not.

Let’s enjoy what we have…atk spd RIP…we cannot have everything even such fundamental thing like attack speed…

Other than completely different sets of skills? Magic attacks cannot crit, but they always hit. Also, the damage you take from them is based on your magic defense instead of your physical defense.

Yes yes, i know it’s complete different skills. And im enjoying them. But the gameplay is the same, isnt it?

Its not the same if one could crit or miss and the other will always hit but not crit. But if you meant how the combat system works e.g. aim with mouse click (at a range) then I guess its the same?

No attack speed increases makes archers really bad. Bring back AGI builds!

Mages rely more on their skills for overall damage, Archers rely on high crits from their autoattacks.
That’s how I think the game was designed to be anyway. I don’t know how often mages can cast spells but I would assume it is more often than Archers unless Archers invest in SPR for a larger mana pool.

About the mana pool, you are right, im putting some spr points and my mana pool is increasing, but SirBlackSheep understood what i was talking.

I agree with you. it feels like im playing a wizard with my ranger i cant rely with my normal atk because its too slow. Those who dont play our class cant understand us.

Totally agree with you.
