Dear IMC, If anyone in the GM world is reading this, I have a few pleas for you when this game goes live. In no particular order:

  1. Keep the skill / stat reset options available and cheap. I only say this because I noticed that the service is offered in the beta, and the text alluded to the fact it was exclusive to beta only. Character development in this game looks to be trial and error, so I think it’d be wonderful if skill and stat reset options were available.

  2. This is more of a nag from me, because I’m super picky when it comes to English language grammar and punctuation. I noticed that the ellipses in some NPCs’ chat contain two periods (…). Having roleplayed with people for a few years in earlier MMOs, I used to see the double period ellipse a lot, and it’s gotten to the point where it really bugs me. So my request, for the English side of the release, at least, could you make the ellipse three periods instead of two?

  3. Here’s the opinion of one exclusive male gamer: please, when you release this game, don’t, don’t, DON’T lengthen the female Highlander’s kilt. Everyone needs some eye candy, and that happens to be mine. This goes for more than just showing off bodies; I started to worry about censorship when I played Breath of Fire IV, and found out that one of the best scenes in the game was censored so the game could be released in America. It contained the silhouetted image of one bad guy chopping off another bad guy’s head. So, IMC, when this game goes live, please incorporate all the loose hanging butts, well-sculpted chests, and violence you’d like. DON’T CENSOR IT!

even the word that contains “ass” like class are also censored :stuck_out_tongue:

About censoring. They could just put a filter option instead. So we can just on/off it if we want to.

Yeah, I hate the fact that the censorship feels a bit overzealous. Is there a way to turn the profanity filter off? More often than not, I can’t understand what people are trying to tell me, when the filter censors “butt” or “ass”, which are included in many legitimate words, such as “button” and “pass”.

Well Sir, I have some good news for you. Several months ago there was a discussion on the GitHub page about whether ellipses should be ‘…’ or ‘…’, and IMC agreed on the latter. Any ‘…’ you find are technically translation errors and will be fixed at some point.

Yep, we (as in all the translators) agree it should be 3 periods instead of 2. It’s only because the game lines originated from the Korean text, which uses 2 periods grammatically, that some lines still have 2 periods. :stuck_out_tongue:
