When mmo start, and when fun start too?

I have 2 above question because:

  1. i have 1-130 lvlup just solo questing without troubles. And ppl do solo questing, cause it’s simpler, faster, differenter than grinding mobs. Why we dont do questing with prty? Cause nobody dont want wait anyone else.
3 mission/dngn in day - they boring and we can do it with any prty, i dont feel any COOPERATIVE play. (One time we do dngn with 5 clerics, and another turn we do it without any cleric - which will be more boring, and wastetiming, but no more difficult)
  2. This game is very cute, but if i want more beaty in my life i can watch anime, cause this is no so boring, and i have more fun & pleasure.
  3. We play in games, cause we tired on work and in real life, and wanna get fun and pleasure. We dont want do something boring, simple, stupid (what we did at work) like grinding, cause some robot can grind better then we, and this is not interesting. And this is reason why so many bots in this game.
  4. This system of classes is so cool and interesting. But if i need around 2 month farming for trying new interesting build - this stop to be interesting. And this build can be rly scrap, cause noone knows how work official mechanics.
  5. Rly see on GW2 or WoW in which we can have 2 builds for pvp and pve, and can get fun which we want. And after 2 months of playing u cant become in situation where u NEED to delete your personage and make new.

Try playing support or go to level 150++, where you actually need party to do some quest because it’s really hard.

uh? are you sure you don’t mean “try playing support AND go level 150++, where it will be impossible for you to actually do anything but dungeons and missions because they’re the only places where you’ll be useful, and you’ll log out after doing them every day (awesome run restrictions) because there’s absolutly nothing more for you to do”? :stuck_out_tongue:

Without a healer its pretty hard to do quest in demon prison.

Or at least it was the case in icbt2 because the spawn rate was higher.

From my experience it really isn’t the case anymore.

I have a support lvl 173 class and this is what you’re going to get trough at lvls 150++:

  • unable to grind: mob density and respawn rate is so low, and you are going to kill so slowly, that you’ll hardly manage to do anything on normal maps.

  • unable to grind in a party: most grinding spots are extremly easy to grind without an healer… the spots are few and usually full so well… people will most of the time prefer a “monk” or “dps” cleric class for the bonus exp.

  • unable to quest: simply because there are no quests to do and the dailies involved killing well… most of the times you’ll need at least an hour for 1 single one not because it’s hard… but because you either find no enemies to kill or you get KS all the time.

  • dungeon and missions: the only places where you will be usefull… if not for the fact that after lvl 160 dungeon exp is totally crap and thanks to the limited runs x day, considering all i’ve wrote so far, you’ll be forced to play only for those 2 hours you need for the daily runs and then log off.

So unless you have a RL group of friend willing to have you tag along and leach you’re kind of screwed most of the time.

I hear the situation changes after lvl 200 because grinding becomes way much harder and healers actually need to heal… but i don’t plan on finding out before the game will make it enjoyable for me to play and reach that lvl instead of beeing a pain… very happy to have gone back to ESO atm… feeling sooooo much more relaxed xD

So we have a game that is supposed to have meaningful grind sessions that doesn’t have any places to grind properly, an MMO that has restrictions all over the place for anyone who wants group content, and quest-based leveling with not nearly enough quests?

Reminds me of this:

there are plenty of other things to do, which include farming items for recipes, getting items from repeatable ‘hidden’ daily quests, farming rare accessories, world bosses etc then there is always playing with our alt
and if you do 3 dungeon runs and 3 missions every day that’s already 3-4 hours, which is about all the time I have on a work day.
i am lvl 130 full support and I didn’t grind at all, I have all my cards saved from lvl4 onwards.

So basically you just named all the things that you can do in the game and, to do all of them you need to grind.

Grind = kill enemies over and over and over again in order to obtain sopmething… be it exp, items etc…and as i already said… you can’t grind because there are not enough grinding areas and not enough enemies to grind.

Let’s talk about “world bosses” then… how do they work? Well easy… they work in such a way that only the highest DPS hitting them get loot… i’m sure a support class will be VERY useful.

Well unless you’re friend with the highest DPS in between all of the people trying to kill the boss… in that case you’ll probably be in a party with him and get some loot for yourself.

3 dungeons and 3 missions 3-4 hours? I pity the DPS-es you’re finding in game O.o

I really hope they give us something like a housing feature in game :l

when I farm for a recipe I don’t see it as grind, for me grind=farm for exp. Plus it doesn’t take me that long unless I farm for a rare collection item (forgot to add that on the list). And yes you can do that just fine, did it plenty of times already so it’s not impossible. you don’t have to farm these items on the high lvl maps as a lot of items can be obtained in low lvl maps where you can easily kill mobs.
regarding world bosses, yes you need a party. is that so hard? i never had any problems creating/getting party. i guess it would be a problem if you absolutely hate to communicate with others but that’s not the game’s fault. and yes I am useful I buff their dmg and I heal them. plus if you join a guild I image you can go with your guild mates which makes it more fun.
it takes me quite long to do dung/mission not because of the dps tho yes I frequently get dc and bad comps but because find party is buggy right now and it takes quite long to find party, yesterday for each dungeon party I had to wait about 20 min in queue so that 60 mins spent on waiting. Mission queues went a little faster but still have to wait 10-15 mins. Plus repairs etc so yes 3-4 h in total.

Lol… you ARE joking right?

how to make exp: kill same mobs over and over
how to drop an item or a recipe: kill the same mobs over and over

And you really don’t consider them to be the same things? Well then that is, sadly, your singular problem :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh now i finally see what you mean… you’re talking about MATERIALS needed to craft an item… well then on this i might have agreed… if it wasn’t that to drop the recipe for that item you still need to farm enemies close to your current lvl.

So basically you’re saying that, even if the world bosses drop loot only to the SIX parties with the highest DPS… it’s easy for EVERYONE to find a party… if you don’t see the fallacy in your logic there you’ve got problems… ANd no, communication really doesn’t matter… what matters is that even if you do find a party you’re absolutly not guaranteed to get any loot as long as there’s someone else dealing more damage in another party.

Anyway… i’m really sorry to do this because you are actually trying to use logic in you statements… even tho you fail hard… but really you deserved this:

yes, i mean farming mats for recipes.
regarding world bosses, I never said it’s easy to get the box, I said it’s not that hard to be part of a party that tries to kill it. I have gotten the box more than 1 time myself.
I don’t understand the latter half of your reply, the only thing i understand is that you’re trying to insult me, so stop sending me vids that i won’t watch. if you want to have a discussion fine, but i won’t reply to insults.

To each their own, some people, esp old RO players, prefer grinding than questing. I do not like having 2 builds interchangeable, there should be pros and cons. If you want a build great for end game, you must work hard to carry it early game. People have to weigh pros and cons of builds. With that said, the skills should have better descriptions, and databases need to be good too. If you read the description and stat of hoplite skills stabbing and pierce in the sites, you would think that Pierce is the better DPS, no one told you that stabbing is a multiple hit channeling skill thus deal far more damage.

170 just questing, and sometimes missions, dngns (whith queue which dont work T_T)

  1. Just close all maps on Klaipeda, Orsha, Fedimian. Yahoo
I think i did 95-97% of all quests on maps 1-195 lvl
And this easy, i like maps after verki square - cause their simple and small.
But it can be boring - lvlup second and 3d character =
Dont do any missions now, cause they dont give u so much exp as quest cards. Party quests is funny, but only 2-3 times, cause after its boring, and dont give u something, just gems. mb on 150+ lvls u can take gems 2-4 lvl, but now its low award, cause every 1lvl gem=100gemexp=20x5gemexp any material, which u can buy on ah at 100 silver. Whats meaning, that 1lvl gem = 2000 silver, 5 partyquest in day ~ 30-60 minutes wasting and ~15-20 gems = <50k silver. And dngns too - just close them to 100% map.

And i wanna repeat my question: When MMO and FUN start?
Cause now i see MMO in this game only when som1 KS my mobs and on Auction House

still thinking about that. Questline on 2-nd char is so sboring and have so much time, when u just rushing trough storyline
