So you can’t spam and exploit them? Maybe in the later levels make some daily boss runs.
Cosmetics, I’m a sucker for cosmetic items. I love pink hair.
Also indecisiveness. I can’t solidly decide for my main Wizard build. now I want two Wizards. definitely no sleep.
I hope PvP isn’t going to be as toxic or as hostile compared to some other MMOs I’ve played. Some players just want to go PvE and all and not give a flying f or two about PvP (like me! /slapped)
oh oh and as Grillo mentioned, Having CLASS RESETS.
It’s going to be so unforgiving if you screwed up one tiny bit of your build and there are no ways to reset your spell stats - it stays there forever. sob
I don’t want clases reset, the guy who I was replying wants it, I was just mocking him, clases reset breaks the purpose of having the hole class customization system
I can’t think of something right now… I really like that game the way it is, maybe adding more end-game stuff, or more dungeons (in the future). I really enjoyed every single thing of the game so far :3
I actually have exactly the opposite concern.
I am worried that they will enable easy resets by popular demand via cash shop or otherwise.
You raise a valid point, that kind of situation is very frustrating.
But in my opinion being stuck with your choices and mistakes is something that creates a bond to my character.
It makes me care for it much more and I think much more carefully about decisions I make.
I wouldn’t mind a single reset early on, but I’d really hate it if people would just change their builds all the time.
People who have been a certain class yesterday would run around being something completly different the next day, and that would make the whole class system feel pointless
If they make some kind of introduction to the class, or show what will come next to the player. Maybe people will make less mistakes, so having to reset less too.
Although they could cap the “reset” thing to once for account, or once every month or semester.
Whatever works best for all.
-pvp
-p2w
-chiteros
long term sustainability? basically all the common causes of mmo deaths
I’m afraid that there might not be a lot to do at the level cap. I’m sure leveling to the cap will take a very long time, but I just hope they have some challenges ready for us once we reach that goal.
I’m also worried about how the cash shop effect gameplay. Even a single item being slipped into a random grab bag could completely ruin the economy. I don’t want to see another of my beloved games die like Archeage did.
Exploit them for what? Quest bosses only drop items once, and their exp is is about 1/10th of blue mobs. While blue mobs on the other hand, can be 1 shotted and overkilled for several level ups, which is more of an exploit then anything else in the game to me right now.
Concerning linearity - I don’t think they can change the game so we can start in other towns, but they can make maps so it is possible to explore the world through different routes (according to player level). They can make maps that have one area with lower level monsters (something like main road) and other with considerably higher level monsters. That would create sort of branching in linearity for new players (different routes) and also ease the feeling of one way road for longer playing higher level players (making them go back and find some sweet leveling spot for their current skillset, level and stats).
Yep. People say the game is huge and lots to explore.
I mean. Explore what ? Explore what if the main quest makes you reveal the entire map already ?
shrug
Maybe class promotion quest for different classes takes you on different routes. Also, someone suggested to dislocate all the class NPCs (maybe those for rank 3 and higher). We need a reason to explore other then to have achievement or get better ladder score.
The story is not “grand” enough.
I feel the story-telling element about the world, the environment is missing in quests / dialogues.
Yes, it’s subjective, and it could be improved during game lifecycle, so it’s not my biggest concern.
I am more concerned to this game security and economy.
Because once it’s taken down, it’ll be hard to fix everything.
I want to play this game until the next 5 years minimum, so yeah nothing concerns me better than the security system.
Worried about the cash shop too… Worried non-spenders will lose out too fast & lose confidence/interest in tos… Really hope tos isnt p2w, esp with those lucky bags/boxes…
What? Sorry, i am not going to explain the simplicity.
My biggest concern? Latency, Ping ,Packet loss and all that bad net related stuff.
South East Asia isn’t really great with the internet…
My concern is about the end game. I’am affraid we will have nothing to do aside from farming boss. I want some challenge !
the only thing i worry about is the customization and the content. If you want me to play this game for longer then a week you need to let me feel attached to my character.
Being black, the mere fact that i cant change skin town is pulling at the back of my head, the fact that you cant change hair style also is annoying me, because these shouldn’t be things you unlock later. you should be able to change skin tone, hair color and eye color.
I also worry about the world and the map being to small, and cluttered, with the mobs being so cluttered i see it frustrating people.
my biggest concern : region block, appereantly i cant enjoy this game with my friends from other region due several localisation make some of us blocked from global
Releasing too early (this year) when there are a lot of improvements and fixes to be made.
