I compared common weapons of same level/item level & pistols look weak in comparison, even worse than xbows.

So now i am confused, what is the point of this class? cant use most skills with pistols ,_,
Blunt damage vs piercing, pew pew guns, get to ride a companion which is limited by class, and AoE city with a few skills.

thus make it more mobile… and maybe better aspd than bow or xbow?
and maybe later become requirement class for musketeer? cannoneer?
The point is to piss you off. Cause you can’t use normal archer skills, save a few, if you go SR.

Mobility. It’s not weak, it has a strength of its own compared to other bow classes that focus heavily on being stationary.
I had 3 SR build before they put all the stance requirements. D: Now I have ZERO. Maybe 1.
Ehh… Archer C2, Hunter C1, Wugushi C2, Schwarze Reiter C1 That could work fine. Just gotta switch weapons from bow to pistol when you’re doing different things.
How much time do you spend switching to pistol/shield & back & forth & back & forth?

As for mobility, i saw steparu mounting even though he was a mage; if mounting is a common skill, what’s the point?
Shouldn’t take that long. You just press a button IIRC. And truthfully, if a mob is resistant to piercing and you only have a bow but you chose Schwarze Reiter, then you can just switch to pistol for blunt damage vice versa. Plus as someone else stated, mobility is amazing on it.
Also, Steparu mounting as a mage was from CBT2 I believe. CBT3 and onwards made it so that only mounted classes like Schwarze Reiter and Cataphract can mount a companion. Others can’t. It’s been stated on the forums already I believe.

Yup. Look for Weapon Swap. You however need to buy the attribute to switch weapons in Rank 2 from your class master which doesn’t cost much. If you’re too cheap to do that, you can always just put equipment in your hotbar and just press the hoykeys corresponding to the equipment.
so it swaps the weapon, but does it also put on the shield? thanks for info man
No clue about the shield but I’d assume it does. Another thing to test when we go back into CBT.

from this point forward class that pick at least 1 rank in SR can mount companioon for mobility… but the skill rquirement tho… i dunno if in higher class advancement there is mount specific class beside SR and Hackapell that can use gun specific skill… that would be badass!! *cowboy maybe? lol
geez we need unicorn as mount companion so that SR more worth to pick as a class
It does swap shield. I tried it. I had a Highlander with weapon swap with 2H sword and Mace + shield. it includes the shield as long as you place it in the lower left corner where swap weapons are placed.
ah thanks for confirming, i guess SR will be a heavy switching class to work around.

ofc pistols would have less atk due to higher aspd & mobility advantages
