Are you sure Step didn’t just say that Ice + Psy was more fun than SR? Because Archer in general doesn’t seem as fun assuming you could mow everything down as Wiz and Archer needs prep time to do amazing damage (generally) also, Step went Sapper + SR which… requires you to get off your companion to plant stuff.
Steparu mounting as a Psyco was CBT1. CBT2 was when he rolled SR. CBT3 was Monk. Just wanted to point this out

Awesome costume for female charas, the only other class (other than Monk’s DoubleLocksPunch) that we know so far which has a 0 CD skill. Limacon has a maximum of 1314 base damage per usage at R1 with the Enhance attribute maxed, and we know that 0 CD skills can pretty much suffice for a majority of your skill set, like with Steparu’s Monk.
The only problem is that you’ll be consuming 62 SP every second instead of 2 Stamina. SPR Schwarze Reiters is the future.
…So as I was saying, Schwarze Reiters have awesome costumes for female charas ¬__¬ Honestly, Retreat Shot isn’t bad either with a really short 52 second CD. It’s not 270 seconds, sorry Cataphracts.

Do Archer need to invest in a companion/mount before become a Schwarzer? I know the companion can lvl-up, however is it affect the Schwarzer in any way or you can just get one after you become Schwarzer?
I’m not sure if they do get it or not but Hunters get their companion for free… this makes me wonder if SR also get their companion for free.
I would assume that at that rank and level that 100k - 400k silver wouldn’t be much but if SR do get a companion for free, if you went hunter and SR, would you get 2 companions?
What I worried about is the level of the companion.
Will a high level companion (like get one when you are a Archer then level up your companion as you go) help out better for Schwarzer at all or is it the same if you get one later?
It would probably help out initially because the stats of the companion would be higher but eventually it should even out

investing a companion earlier is a must imo, you need them to help lvling low lvl alt eventually…
if only their ai get better in the upcoming cbt it would be a great addition generally and for hunter specially…
Hunter’s get a free companion so you don’t need to worry about that.
if you read my post closely im not worried about how we got the companion… i just point out how the ai companion still bad atm…
SR looks underwhelming because all classes haven’t been released. Guns are late game so ranks after 6 will include more gun wielding classes. SR is beginning of guns.
speaking of gun classes,
this hidden class looks like a shotgun user or something… the stance quite similar to RO gunslinger

This is terrible.I was going sapper+SR.I thought SR can throw bomb when mounting.
I tried archerc3+scout+rogue SR build.I think scout and rogue isn’t really compatible .Since can’t cloak when mounting.
And retreat shot and limacon don’t do splash damage now…
If u want more dps,going SR is bad idea.
DPS when off the mount is much better…
Even I only use Archer C3 skill.
And i wonder will offical buff this class.
The class indeed have survival advantage
At least 8k+hp on mount
Fast move even shooting(with swift step lv15)
Bonus flee and defence
In order to make this class balance in PvP
it won’t get good DPS.
Oh gawd what is the point in SR besides mobility now? Ugh.
