What was your favorite Childhood Japanese Anime?

The most epic, classic and influential shoujo/romance tale of all time.

  • Detonator Orgun
  • Lion Man (Tokusatsu)
  • Jiraya (Tokusatsu)
  • Jaspion (Tokusatsu)
  • Changeman

While not my first anime, FLCL was the one that gave me my love for anime.

My body is ready for seasons 2 and 3~

But my favorites were

It’s sad that the best anime were present in the 80s and 90s in the German kids television program, but removed/relocated from ARD/ZDF and went to the private television broadcast programs, which replaced old anime from their program with either cartoons or those new crap 08/15 anime from the late 90s/early 2000s.
Nowadays, all that children in Germany get to see is either European CG animation series or poorly drawn cartoons/“Zeichentrick”…

Sailor and the Seven Ballz.

Speaking of that, I remember having Evangelion X on VCD… Gendo just watches everything for the whole duration. I remember loving everything about Asuka in it.

Started watching anime in 2006, with Hikaru no Go and Samurai 7. So they hold a special place in me even if they’re not the best right now.

Started getting into lolis from Kodomo no Jikan.

This reminds me that I actually want more older male protagonists around 21+ instead of middle/high schoolers nowadays. Of course don’t forget to fit loli in somewhere too if possible.

Ghibli Studio, also was my favorite too.
My Neighbor Totoro was my first movie. Next one was Spirited Away, I know I passed through some movies … I think I’ll check them again someday…
Last one I remember is… Howl’s moving Castle. I still kinda listening to Merry go round of Life from time to time…

pretty much I grown up with Ghibli lolz
