Wich Anime Was your favorite when you was a little toon and why ? :smiley:

When i was little my favorite anime was Cat’s Eyes !! These Three glamorous girls were really my roles models , i remember dancing & singing along to the opening theme, i really wanted to grow up just like them and become a beautiful & dangerous woman , that risk her life everyday xD

I remember that My father hated the opening because it was too sexy :

I really enjoyed DB, a bit less DBZ because it was a lot like “hey, I’m strong, you have no hope, woah ■■■■ you got me” or “oh, our friend is dead, whatever we’ll rez him” and repeat this 3 or 4 times, while the original DB involved an original lore, a lot of humour and catchy events, but since I was really young, I didn’t mind much at that time.

Ranma 1/2 really got me into it, but I used to watch Dragon Ball and I remember loving Neon Genesis Evangelion.

But my favorites were

It’s sad that the best anime were present in the 80s and 90s in the German kids television program, but removed/relocated from ARD/ZDF and went to the private television broadcast programs, which replaced old anime from their program with either cartoons or those new crap 08/15 anime from the late 90s/early 2000s.
Nowadays, all that children in Germany get to see is either European CG animation series or poorly drawn cartoons/“Zeichentrick”…
