Im currently an ar3>wu2>Fa>?>?
In ur opinion, what would be the best next classes for me to get?
Im kind of worried with the 315+ content. People say that its really hard to deal with it unless u have scout. I also enjoy ET, PVE and cleaning dungeons. No pvp guy at all.
Also, can SR3 kill those mobs? Is it true that they surpass any other archer build in constant dmg by far? What skills make them that good?

If you are in this game for the sake of being able to solo everything, bad news for you in regards to r8 content.
You would party to run through it, unless you have scout. Scout makes some things LESS harder, not that it becomes easy. Cloaking is the reason of why it makes some stuff LESS HARDER.
SR is good because it has good aoe dps potential with some good single target as well. It shines in the DPS department due to Retreat Shot and Assault Fire. If you want more elaborated answer, the only way to do it is simply answer that it has good damage.
SR requires some ability to perform, you will not aoe dps as easy as it would be to an elememe or doppelsoldner (although doppels do rely on their own ability to avoid or take damage).
But it is, indeed, the aoe class that has the easiest time soloing stuff due to how retreat shot works and how it can be used in solo scenarios.
Constant damage, yes, they surpass it in the aoe department. Although a mergen can make it better if they can unleash triple arrow twice and there is a group of monsters JPed, but they would need to be of the flying type for that to happen.
Constant damage wise, flecther3mergen is better than SR for single target that is.
And if i were you iw ould just reroll. Reaching r6 doesnt take that much time, to me it takes like, 3-4 days and there are better ranks than a3 and wugu2 for both SR3 and Flecther3Mergen.
But if you are not in the mood, just move on and choose sr3. Flecther3Mergen cant be put into your build.
Thanks for the nice answer, Nizael. I guess ill keep my current character as it is and create a SR3 for the AOE. I was focusing on the aoe in this build, with cannon and circling+multishot - got a little lost after the r8-. I guess 315+ content was made thinking of full parties, which I think was acctually a good idea.
One more question, is the new Limacon worth it?

Go mergen on that build. Maybe rogue at 7 or could even go cannon-mergen… Theres a lot of possibilities there…

Dont worry cause going with SR in this build wasnt really on my mind anyway… probably canon>mergen, scout>mergen or rogue>mergen. Creating a SR3 is still an option.
Anyway, if I go cannon and mergen, will my AOE be still good for endgame and 315+ mobs? Or nowadays people are only after SR3?
You’ll be fine as cannon-mergen. That’s plenty of burst aoe with Circling… Only little issue you might have is pumping those attributes, it won’t be cheap. However, the damage will be pretty good.
SR is alright but it was nerfed a bit at SR3. It’s not amazing anymore, still the best aoe I suppose.
Just put more points into dex, you will definitely need it.
Your damage will be good for 315+ but remember you will need better gear, the new gear in particular before you start to shine.
I warn you one more thing if you gonna go cannon-mergen. Just like kingssoul said about attribute not cheap. also you need to upgrade more weapon . more gem more blessed gem for Bow XBow Cannon and that will drain your money alot. (you can use same amount of this addition silver to create new char with same/more power)
Cannon2 here, I don’t know what else you can chose at rank7, but being a Cannon1 in 280+ maps will be pain and even more with a low dex build, i don’t advise that at all.

I would sincerely get wugushi 3 for the sake of better poison damage and the proceed to mergen. Falcon + Mergen alone works wonders, and wugushi 3 damage is always welcome as a source of damage both aoe( gu pot) and single target ( needle/wugong gu uptime).
My pre- mergen builds is similar to yours Ar2> R1> W3> _ > mergen
I’m still ponderig whether getting rogue or falcon for that.
If you are still in the 300-301 STR, stop investing in it and go dex.
At 330 you will be at 1 1 dex str.
Although you might miss a bit of con o_O
I am at no con because i am SR, but i still have time to think about that.
There’s 2 “nerfs”
SR skills are now gun type and not strike type. Strike type attacks deal x2 damage when they hit a mob affected by the lethargy debuff (if the wizzie that casted it has the attribute). That used to make us deal lots of damage.
SR’s new aoe skill Marching Fire doesn’t have an enhance attribute, so it’s much weaker than Retreat Shot. As an example, my Retreat Shot, against demons, can deal 9k per hit (and the skill isn’t maxed) and Marching Fire does 6k per hit
uhhh i not sure about gun type is nerf or buff. because of this SR is one of best boss hunt for archer right now by combo with Musketeer butt stroke. (double dmg).
Lethargy is a 30 second long debuff. Butt stroke is 10 seconds. Before rank 8, teaming with any wizzie would double your damage. That wizzie could also be a chrono, or a thauma, or a necro and boost that damage even more. Now you will need 2 team mates to boost your damage instead of 1, and the debuff will last for a third of the time
EDIT: Forgot to add featherfoot as another support for archers. They can also give decay to mobs

SR isn’t nerf. it was balanced, as how would even a pistol shot be strike instead of missile?
did it hurt? not quite, but with the addition of Forward shot, things are mostly the same. i hit 10-12k from retreat shots, 6-8k from forward shots, add up to 50% more when i pop glassmole cards.
(just your ordinary isbality and manamana, because double Stack is a scam. if you made one, R.I.P practonium)
how good is SR?
SR can mostly solo any maps, (in exception of those mobs with knockback defense). namely zima suecourt and some few maps.
The new Limacon can act as the best filler you can have assuming you got $$ to spend on it’s attribute. it’s safe to assume you can deal 5-7k per offhand (pistol) attack with 70% attribute. plus the bonus of it hitting another target with its bounce attribute. and the feel of being action star (shooting pistol while moving is cool)
Well… now a meta dps swordie can also be a pretty good aoe alternative, meaning our role in a party could easily go to them. Our single target damage also just plummeted because of that. We went from being kings of AoE and competitive at single target to being great at AoE and mediocre at single target
