What makes you still play ToS?

Hey there
I was just wondering, what do you like about ToS so much? :0 I actually really like it, but it seems sometimes a bit boring to me, the quests still almost the same and so. I play the game a week and I’d like to join a party (I soloed all the time), but i think it just slows me down /I’m lvl 70 Barb, died once and used 19 HP pots in total/, and I haven’t found someone really friendly here.
Do, and how do the things change at higher levels?
Thanks for your answer

PS/Edit: Party someone?

It is the same, unless you join a fairly decent guild, or have a fixed group of friends to play with.

I have 11 chars which 5 or 6 are close or over 200, soloed most of the gameplay, queues are terrible at certain level ranges, you can find people to do missions in a certain time of the day tho.

As you said, doing the same shore over and over again is boring, but that is the essence of ToS as of now.

Play as much as you like till you get tired, then move on, or just come occasionally to get a feel of how things are.

There is nothing much you can do about unfortunately, the company behind this game gone off-track for the sake of money milking, the devs can’t figure out their own codding and some parts of the game are so bugged that they can’t fix it unless they redo all the work in that part, which they don’t have time neither resources to do so.

Since the game forces you to find a squad to function, people with friends will enjoy it more.
I like the game more ever since I recruited for my guild.

Not playing the game with strict seriousness helps get not as frustrated with bugs and stuff that they’re still sorting out.

At higher levels you have more skills to cycle with, so you don’t have to resort to running or autoattacking (which makes lower levels painfully broringto me).

Just a heads up that a lot of people will reply to this thread thinking ofyour question as “why do you still play this buggy game” which I would not blame them for, lol

When you think of it as a game in beta it is hard to get invested in it’s malfunctions, which they do fix liiiittle by little.

I love making alts, getting them to rank 8 and then completely forgetting about them to start new ones. If it’s with guildies even more. Sadly, boss hunting / pvp would be a lot more fun if I could run the game smoother

max gear and attribute to prepare for next content. if not…

me? scout c3 costume

Agree… ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Pretty nice artwork, great music

I chose to play TOS because i have lost interest in some other games i used to play

This song. If Justin Beiber can go through all his hardships and rise to the top then so can TOS. We just need to Beileb in IMC.

Also that cyber bully thread. I think about it a lot because there are so many bullies in game and on the forums. It gave me the strength to move on knowing I’m not alone in my struggles.

I play Tos because it is the best mmo f2p in anime style nowadays. I like the graphics, soundtrack, gameplay, and principally the dynamic of building your character. However, Tos have a lot imperfections, like: the difficulty to find peoples to play with; Bad optimization that make pvp not feasible; Limitation in dungeons entry, etc. So I enjoy playing Tos Casually, I started to play in the early access and played just 500 hrs, because I’m not a hardcore player. I stopped to play for some months, and now I’m back because of the rank reset, and my vacations. To be sincere I think Tos will be alive for some years yet, the game was not ready to launch when Imc launched, but they are making several improvements to complete the game, and recruit new players. Because I have stopped for months I can see a lot of difference from the current state of Tos compared to september. So if you want a suggestion, play while you have fun, if the game gets boring, do something else. The proposal of any game is to entertain you, not to make you feel sad because of the possibility of the game close someday. Everything in life has an end, including life in itself, so enjoy every moment while you are alive. And be happy

:open_mouth: haven’t seen one, can you post a link or screenies?

I play because not only do I like the game and its play style, it’s changed my real life as well.

I can’t type the entire story out here [way too long with a lot of background], but it has helped rescue me from a bad place in my life and brought me to a better one; thanks to a player I met in iCBT2. It has changed my life and allowed me to improve so many things, and ToS is the foundation for it all and continues to be as I meet amazing people both on the game and on the forums.

I’ve had an amazing time here despite how much it’s changed, and because I enjoy it and it’s done so much for me, I will continue to stay with the game until the ship has sunk.

Yes, it really is a miracle. But I am determined and I tend to stick to what I know and like. So I am concerned, but we’ll see what happens.

got some friends playing around

Used to be the graphics and cool class concepts but theres only so much i can take, everyday bugs that are never fixed got to me and i don’t play anymore. Maybe someday IMC will step it up and something will make me want to play tos again.

That was some of the gayest shit i ever read on here and I love it =).

I stopped playing for a long while and came back on a whim. I dunno why exactly I stick with this game anymore (graphics and etc aside) but I just do what’s fun for me. Since I play with a friend, we just laugh at the bugs and awful systems and move on.

o yah, it’s actually the xmas costumes that caught my eye and brought me back this time.

Doesn’t stress me out since I only do dailies and stuff. I rage too much at MOBAs and affect my mood
