Yeah
my main anxiety is how effective it will actually be
Yes. But I think starting from Earth Tower and new content will required us to play with full support build. Maybe stoneskin from priest c3 and pardoner for mdef. Right now paladin barrier is one of the best support skill in Earth Tower. You have many options for full support cleric, but cleric c2 is a must if you want to go for healer. You can go chaplain, but you need krivis for daino or your party member will get mad at you. But i do not recommend chaplain if you have party most of the time. LOL.
Good luck.
I thought Paladins were super welcome to a ET party due to Barrier, and the constant healing from Aukuras+Restoration would only make it better?
I guess itās just a personal panic, i prefer having some āsave teamā buttons though haha. envious of all the healing tiles too
Idk, I think if tis possible to have HoT of 1k+ with that combination, as long people stay in range.
The real question is, what are you going to combo Melstis with?
Yep, but that requires a squire2 for food tableās soup, which lowers hp regen down to 1s in combination with a high lvl aukuras.
Without itās just a once every 5s heal.
Healing is going to be a issue for that build.
But barrier is quite good on ET floors 1-3 & 6.
AndI dont think theres any reason to not allow a Squire in party. Some people seems to value em as tanks, recently. Just sayin~
Iām thinking about something like:
Or, due to the MDEF buff, switch Dievbirdy with the Pardorner c1. Anyone can say if its a good option?
Squires are indeed good tanks, but thatās not the issue with said combo.
Food table can only be placed near a base camp.
Base camps cannot be created in a dungeon, and have a 6 hour cooldown.
So youāre limited to whatever duration you get from said buff outside of the dungeon. Which should be at least 40 minutes, maybe more with recent changes.
Itās not.
Considering you get a party teleport to the squire camp, and hopefully a single dungeon run isnāt going to take over 40 minutes, I donāt see it as much of a limit.
@rinaldi_rogerio If youāre going SPR build, increase Mdef adds a good bit to your party. Also discerning evil pairs well with party memberās debuffs and your own incinerate. DE is pretty underrated in PvE/PvP.
My ideal healer would be at least ClericC2, DievC1 for CD reduction, and PlagueDoctor for the healing factor for tank and bleeding and the ever wonderful anti-resist and spread my stuff pandemic. With some argument for PriestC1 for resurrection. Chaplain and all that though? Meh, I can use scrolls.
How much difference does Increase Magic Defense really make? Seems like it would just produce a flat decrease in magic damage of a few hundred points.
Iāve never played Pardoner or partied with one.
Depends on your SPR. Keep pumping SPR, and itāll keep giving your party more mdef.
I have pardoner 100+ SPR. You will receive less damage against magic monster. Almost immortal with cloth mastery. I bet 150++ SPR + lvl10 or 15 will make you immune to magic attack. Lol
Pair with PD incinerate and priest c3 stoneskin, you will be top rank pvper in no time. Lol
Even in endlevel? I mean is the increase on MDEF more worth than the AOE buff the statues gives during a grind in EARTH TOWER?
Iirc, in pve it acts as a flat dmg reduction due to a lack of multipliers on enemies. But considering the 3-5k base dmg of magic mobs in earth tower it wonāt be enough to make a difference.
in pvp itās a bit more effective, check the dmg guide for the exact details. But basically most +x%magic dmg and enhance attributes are calculated after magic defense lowers the base dmg.
lol no need to build around full support if you dont like
because everyone is using auto matching for dungeons
they have to party with you even if you canāt heal
You have peaked my interest. Do you have any videos demonstrating the difference that Increase Magic Defense makes?
Seems like it would be a minor difference in PvP of wizards are hitting for 1-2k per damage tick on their skills.
Thanks for the info.
FULL SUPPORT is not just a build you pick⦠itās a life style!
