Depend on what you want to be at rank 8.
I have no idea, what is the best?
Hakapell:
- Tankier (share hp and other stats with mount)
- Can mount Pet
- Higher Movement Speed
- 1h Sword and Cross bow
- Mix Range + Melee
- Focus on single target / small area
- Harder to play since you have to stack arrows and manage debuff
- Great single constant DPS
Mergen:
- Long range 2h bow
- Higher Burst but long cooldown
- Very easy to play
- Great for flying mobs (315 DPS check)
- Benefit more from transcending (higher base dmg + trans)
- Lose the benefit of off-hand
- Not as tanky as Hakapell
- Right now Mergen > Haka dued to crazy burst damage.
- AoE and Single target at the same time
I have both Hakapell and Mergen. Hakapell does consistence dps while Mergen is up and down in-term of dps. Once you have burst all your 30-40 secs cooldown you are left with lower rank skills. Hakapell debuff is very useful. Right now I’m enjoying Hakapell a lot.
Do you like 2h bow or cross bow + 1h sword/pistol?
