Ideally it would be a wizard, but after looking into other lines there are class choices with CC skills in other trees. My question is what tree and class are the most effective for CC. By the way ‘CC’ means crowd control. I personally believe Psycokino pure CC.
Wiz > Cryo > Cryo > Cryo > Chrono > Chrono
or
Wiz > Cryo > Linker > Linker > Chrono > Chrono
when a cataphract charge with full speed at you and lift you with his spear and then carries you off then you will find out

Yup, Psychokino have lots of CC. But I’d rather do a Linker + Chronomancer. Much like that guy over there /\ hahahaha

For me, it’s cryo or psyco.
Does that Cataphract spear lifting thing work on players? I didn’t think it would but I could be wrong.
What happens if the target has his shield block up? Could they still lift him/her?

Crowd control. Skills to stun/freeze/sleep/disable an enemy.

Actually crowd control means reducing the distance between monsters and then restricting their movement so that AoE classes with long casting times and cooldowns have better efficiency in dealing with the mobs.
Status effects are just means to disable movement.

the problem with the Linker and Chrono is that their skills have CC, but psychokino has damage to its CC abilities.
cryo is only % chance to freeze
wizard sleep has fast duration
psycho on the other hand aside from the CC already available for the skills, has a stun upgrade after effect of the skills
Thus a psychokino is the best class for CC addicted users.
Pshh, don’t tell them how to use Cantus.
