My build is going to be sw petl 2 rodelero 3 shinobi murmilo but i have no idea about how to up my stat. Can someone help me?
What should I go? High STR, High Dex, or something else?
I’m 230 Shinobi and I have atm 197 Dex 132 STR 85 CON
I was going (4 STR 3 CON 5 DEX), but at Rank 6 I focused points in DEX for Rank 7.
Invested atm: 60 STR 45 CON 152 DEX
My goal is put 200 DEX and then put all in STR.
With 85 CON I have almost 23000 HP.

Yeah, I’m Peltasta2>Rodelero3>Shinobi>Murmillo.
My gear is: Plate and the weapons are: Magas Sword and Catacomb Blade (i switch weapon) and the Shield atm is Ledas Shield but I’m farming Didel Tower Shield.

rode2-x-murmillo here, murmillo rely on heavy bursting skills that get amped by attributes alone, wich if you cannot kill your prey in that rotation then
- you’re screwed
- run like a b…
as a mix of 2:1:1 str:con:dex i came to the conclusion that murmillo heavily benefits from dex and con, since tanking in this game is not necessary but as a mur you’ll get hitted, soo some little con will not hurt, as str… is completely and utterly useless… that’s the conclusion that i came, soo get dex as a much as possible for critical rate, it will counter the lack of accuracy that the helmet add and will make your bursty skill really do a ■■■■ load of dmg, since murmillo already have an increase of strike attacks (uber expensive btw) and if you add rodelero high kick and slithering then those crits will come in handy.

There is a youtube video of a 322 pel2 rod3 shin murm. And he’s stats are: str 350 cons 100 dex 200. Im sure those are not invested stats. But that could be a baseline on how effective those stats are: crit, passive block etc… sorry i cant link the video im at the office

What is useful skill for leveling? and how to calculate the atk between weapon and shield?
Until level 130 or so, your auto-attacks with Sacrament+Cafrisun+Arde Dagger or Ledas shield in offhand will do more than most of your skills.

Decent skill damage starts showing itself around RodC2 with lvl 10 Targe Smash and Shield bash.

Make sure to use priest buffs (blessing & sacrament) when leveling. They last 2hours and only 1000 silver each from buff-shops in channel 1. Cafrisun also does fine for Swordy classes till 170-200.

Also, in recent Q&A, I think they said something about buffing strength in the future… I hear str scales well with pelt skills later on, but most people recommend a high dex/con for murmillo.

Murmillos Cassis Crista buffs Peltastas’ Rim Blow, Umbo Blow, Shield Lob Umbo Thrust, Butterfly Rodelero’s skill damage for Shield Charge, Targe Smash, Shield Push, Shield Shove and Shield Bash, Shooting Star.

Pelt skills are straight forward as far as the descriptions go, Rodel gets lvl 1 slithering and shield charge because while you’re preforming the skills, you get buffed vs missle damage. Any higher than level one is a waste because then the skills start to cost too much SP for what they’re worth.

Shinobi depends on you really. For sure take level 5 clones and level 4 or 5 Kunai, the other less used skills are only invested into for the attributes (invisibility after using skills etc).
Kunais tool-tip looks lack luster but you throw multiple kunai at once, so its dmg-formula x 4. With clones, thats x20, with 2 charges.

Following that linked build above though, you should be safe. Just keep in mind levelling will be a bit slower since it’s a shield/tankier build. Damage will probably suck bawls until rank 6 or 7. Dont get discouraged!

I’ve leveled a Pelt 2 Rode 3 Shin Murmillo and I’m currently sitting at Murmillo. The damage of Rode 2 / 3 isn’t bad!
I leveled all the way to rank 8 with an Archer 2 Ranger 3 SR 3 and my damage was almost always on par with him during most ranks level up.
Rodeleros surely lack on AoE but they compensate for that by having many different dmg skills with 2~3 overheats and relatively low cooldowns.
I even felt my Rodelero’s dps was on par with my Barbarian 3 -> Doppel 1 due to Cyclone’s crazily high cooldown.
Murmillo feels a bit disappointing so far because most of it’s damage come from really expensive attributes. Other rank 8 classes can deal reliable damage without needing to spend millions in attributes. But I’m confident Murmillo will get better once I spend my first 10m in attributes with it.
As for stats, I’d say STR benefits lower lvl skills more (i.e. umbro blow, rim blow) while DEX benefits Murmillo skills more. That doesn’t necessarily mean DEX is better since you’ll get many multipliers for your low lvl skills coming from clones / debuffs / cassis crista.
I chose DEX myself because I prefer to have evasion along with reasonable dmg. But if you intend to pvp, you should consider getting at least some STR for block pen.

damn nice. thats a beast weapon. Shinobi clones auto attacks are huge, and as you probably know, you’ll cause explosions every 2 auto attacks during clones and apparently the explosions dmg scales x-x
