Pelt skills are clonable by shinobi and are increased by murmido. Pelt2 has an attribute from a high guard that increased atk by 250% to rim blow and umbo blow

I prefer Rodelero 3 + Murmillo since High Kick, Slithering and Headbutt will stack and give you +100%, +100% and +50% strike damage respectively.
Hop 2/3 has Spear Lunge which increases pierce dmg so you get more dmg with Shinobiâs Kunai and Murmilloâs Evade Thrust. But I wouldnât make a Hop2/3 > Shin > Murmillo simply because Dragoon 2 with Serpentine + Dethrone seems way better than what you can get from Shin > Murmillo combo.
Dragoon 2 also seems more âfuture-proofâ since itâs very likely Dragoon 3 will get more pierce skills while we canât say the same for Murmillo 2.
They have been changed and they do work with 1h spears now.
Iâd just like to point out for @Kur0ir0_Rai that your clones wonât get the self-buffs you have to make skills hit harder. That means your clones wonât have High Guard or Cassis Crista and thus hit a lot weaker with Umbo/Rim blows and the other skills.
Shinobi is a good option, but Pelt 3 > Rode 3 is also pretty solid imo. Shinobi gets two good skills (Clones and Kunai) and Pelt 3 also get two good skills (Butterfly and Umbo Thrust). If clones copied self-buffs, Iâd say Shinobi would be better, but since they donât, Pelt 3 is on par with it. Reducing enemies defense to 0 is insanely good at rank 8 content.
Itâs still good. You get the most damage out of clones by using it. But Toy Hammer obviously canât be compared to lvl 315 weapons.
I have a Magas Sword and a Toy Hammer and I believe Toy Hammer is way superior when using clones but perhaps on par with Magas when not using them. Velniup is also a good choice because of the additional 3 AoE atk ratio which is insanely important to Rode/Shin. If you donât have +AoE atk from any other gear, I would recommend the Velniup (I use Vubbe Fighter Gloves). Obviously all those weapons need to be minimally over-refined to be able to compete with lvl 220 Superior Koperon swords. Havenât tested Shark Cutter since itâs expensive as hell and I rather save my money for lv 315 gear.

You can just do Pelt2->Hop3->Drag/Shin->Murmillo
Youâll be lacking the Strike benefits Rodelero gives, however you get the pierce benefits from Hoplite 3, Spear Lunge will boost the damage of Evade Thrust, while Synchro Thrust gets a boost from Helm and will be your only shield boost along with umbo blow and rim blow
