What I want to see more than EXP rates

I don’t really have a problem with the EXP rates. Sure they weren’t optimal, but I think there is a better and even more fun solution than just jacking them up for the “casuals” or whatever the current exp-meta thread is about.

Increase mob density.

I found that the areas with the most mob density were by far the most fun for me to explore and I loved fighting my way from location to location and having to actively move about to avoid danger on instant-aggro mobs. I only made it to level 39 on my highest level character (that I had for a day) but there was a map called the chapel, I think, where you fight the mimic boss and that was the most fun map I had experienced in my gameplay time.

I am not coming from RO, I found ToS because it reminded me of FFT/FF: Crystal Chronicles/anime Diablo and I find that with more mobs I actually have a reason to spec into crowd control or use my movement speed potions or watch my stamina bar.

I know peltasta has a taunt skill and you can create density by aggroing mobs and then luring them, but I just feel as if it would be more fun in general to have more mobs to use these tactics on. It also seems strange to have such specialized classes like sappers and squires with zone control when there wasn’t that much density in the maps I got to experience.

Once again, can’t speak towards all the beta content since I didn’t get to experience all of it, but this seems like a two birds solution to some of the player complaints.

I want this to happen even if we get or not an EXP increase. Higher spawn rate makes everything even funner.
