Your build as a battlesage was known (i did this kind of build) so it is in RO meta because it was usefull, but have u ever seen a sage/prof who was a magic dps and considered viable or interesting, u need a priest if u want to lvl up at a good pace but u could do it without a priest too like ur doing in TOS.
From my view. RO was better in almost everything. Only thing that TOS did better is character control. Maybe just thatâŚ
I dont see much different between both. At early game, ro = tos. Ro boss no skill, op archer, mage. After u found good lvling place in ro, the progression also become linear. The thing i hate in ro also same like tos wich is mvp system. Easily kill mvp and only certain people get the loots. Even now u can see people shout boss respawn in tos after 80% hp left (20% hp already down by them. Sure loot for them). Ktos already fix this problem, but getting it here taking too long.
The only unique feature of ro is random spawn, monster system and its map system. Im sure imc try to implement it here. U can see some map has big difference lvl between each other, but still i dont feel it.
Random spawn make the adventure become more dangerous. Sometimes miniboss respawn/teleport infront of u.
Ro monster system is the best. Some monster are aggressive, cast sensor and some group atking. There is no such thing as red name monster. At early game, this feature really interesting.
For the map system, each map is mix with different lvl. It really interesting to see kobold village, orc village, jupe core with robot only, payon dungeon with undead theme, some angel map like thanatos tower (map group according to type). 1 monster also not fix at 1 map only. For example, u need hunt kobold archer for its card. U can find the best map to farm kobold archer. Some map has too little that mobs, some map too dangerous.
Bapho on CT without skills. Good olâ days. Literally no endgame content.
Oh i forgot. Ro also already die long ago, which doesnt happen in tos. With classic ro system and stat as main power, there is no way for dev to improve them. Thats why they change it to renewal. Back in classic, even +3 stat already powerful enough. I dont see any way for them to update new content in classic. Classic ro has too many flaw.
