as the title says, wondering if anyone could enlighten me as to what the c1 circling attribute does exactly. i’m fine to pick up the attribute anyway as it’s cheap, but i’m curious. replies much appreciated.

The way I always thought of it is this:
When a target nullifies your attack, it means they did not get damaged by it. Block and evasion comes to mind, though there might be skills/attributes that works similarly (nullifies certain types of attacks by chance).
When a target is under Circling (with the “Decreased Nullification” attribute on), no matter how high their evasion or block is, any attacks towards it guaranteed at least a 20% chance of getting through (so not blocked or evaded). This applies to debuff and DOT skills as well that relies on accuracy and/or block penetration mechanics (e.g. Fletcher’s Broadhead, Wugu’s Needle Blow and Wugong Go, etc.).
What I’m not sure and haven’t really tested though is whether this applies to “guaranteed immunity” skills like Safety Zone, Ausrine, Missile Hole, etc. If it does then that’s more reason for having at least Falcon C1 for PVP archer builds if possible.
No it just counters skills that give you the “null” popup that attributes of Lifeline, Resist Elements, Jolly Roger, and Forecast give you along with the main effect of foretell
so… it is more useful at pvp than pve?
Oh TIL. I just thought it just passively does its job without any kind of effect or popup message.
Thanks for the answers
. I hated not knowing.
