What do you think is the future of this game?

That is actually one of the major arguments people point at when this class reset discussion is held. But in fact, you are not playing Femidian. Else you would know that almost every dungeon besides 130, 190, 217 and sometimes 200 is practially dead already and people often dont get a party together even after 30mins and 10 megaphones. I dont know if Orsha or Femi has the lowest player base but I dont think the numbers dont differ that much from each other. And the same thing will happen to the higher populated servers too, its just a matter of time.
Arguing with an event that will happen independly from class reset cannot really score at me.

Not to mention that the devs could re-model every dungeon to ranked based instances that scale up the level of an individual player up to specific cap that enables to play with people that are 50, 100 or more level higher then you.
But hey, dont tell that the 30+ master brain employees at IMC. Im sure they have better concepts for the future - not.

I can confirm that by taking a look into the analytics of my little shitty YT channel.
Actually 51% of my viewers are from japan while the 2nd highest is brasil with 9.4%…

But what now again: What do I care jToS when the devs literally dont give the slightest ■■■■ about iToS?
And Im pretty damn sure jToS runs under spoon feeding conditions like kToS does. 5 dungeon runs a day, lmao…

The game by itself could be doing fine. It has a lot of issues, but it’s also filling a niche that could bring him a stable influx of players. It’ll need real marketing though, ideally in some time when the game is more polished to make sure the new players actually stick around.

Biggest problems imo is the army of shitposters who hate the game and are quitting yet have so much free time to post about it. This toxic part of the community isn’t that big, but enough to act as a deterrent to people interested in the game.

Not saying you’re not allowed to criticize the game and how it’s managed, but making up stuff because you’re angry is rather pointless, and making a thread a day about how the game is dying is a textbook exemple of a self fulfilling prophecy. If you dislike ToS that much, that’s fine, but don’t prevent others from enjoying it. There is an infinity of other games for you to play, just move on and free yourself from this anger.

You greatly overestimate the amount of players who bother to check forums, heck people don’t even read patch notes. Happens in every MMO I came across, so many don’t even know there was a maintenance.

best, counter, ever!

i puked … uek!

it was never fine to release a buggy game

I hope that next year I’ll be able to look back to ToS release and tell my friends while queued up in a party for our 6th dungeon run that day with our non-meta but still relevant classes: “Ah… Remember the time ToS got hit so hard by bugs and incompetence that it was hanging by a thread? I definitely do not miss those days, I’m glad they managed to fix the game! Release was so bumpy…”

And they’ll be like: “Yeah… I stopped playing for months because I thought the game was doomed”

I really wish for this to happen.

And this is why ToS still has a player base.

Whoa, I didnt expect for there to be so many replies over night ._.

I don’t play as often as I used to when I first started playing but I haven’t completely given up hope in the game either. I’m still working on getting my late game gear and slowly lvling to max lvl, just taking my time since there isn’t much to rush for anyways. Just hope that when R8 comes out I’ll still be relevant seeing how wizzes are going to be the class at the bottom of the totem pole.

yep, the server could need more people like you

so newbie wont able to find any leveling group, no1 grind in lv200+

how is that 5k population not going to kill the game, i dont know…

It’s true with rank 8 wizzards elelock especially will be rock bottom dps, but they might “balance” gradually or won’t give a s hit like swordmen for the entire rank 7 duration.

I have 280 252 226 170 180 chars but after seeing so many times the differences between ktos and us and lastly 20 tomes xp (no time limit) + 5 dungeons reset vs 1 tome and 1 dungeon reset, I decided to finally drop the game.

It’s a waste because I spent 200 euros for hats and costumes etc…

Got unbanned (banned wrongly) however I never returned. Glad to hear I did not miss out on good stuff.

For ToS, Japan ToS is generating most money right now.

As jRO did back in the day, reason why a Japanese dev bough the dev rights to RO in Japan. Now they release whatever awesome content they want and the western population can’t have it. lol

Yes, cute games are very popular at JP.

I wouldn’t say cute only but games with good core mechanics.

Monster Hunter and Phantasy Star Online are big hits there because of that.
I still play PSO2 now-a-days. I have waaaaaay more to do than when playing ToS. lol

if PSO2’s English community ever comes back to what it was then ill start playing that again.
the game is boring as ■■■■ without friends
