Well its not even white knighting for most of us…
Its just that theres nothing else on the market of MMOs thats interesting at the moment.

I WAS playing DFO but once i hit the lvl cap, got all my end game gears and farmed up a Lib weapon i was just kinda like:
“Ok… what now?..”

And my friends wee like:
“Now we do raids!”

And im like:
“Why?..”

And they respond
"idk…"

-I cant justfy paying for FF14 plus i dont even think its tha good…
-Bless went with the tab-taget combat style in WoW
-Peria Chronicles or however you spell it was delayed AGAIN because they apparently overhauled the hole game and started from scratch…
-Blade and Soul is uninteresting
-Black Desert went pay to play and made me not pick it up…
-Soul Worker decided to go with gender locked classes 99.9% of them are girls and… Despite me being a lesbian I’m not really into playing a game where your camera view is placed under your character’s skirt for constant pantie shots…
its just not my thing…
-POS2’s English community died, and the US release never came for some reason…
And im not good at shooters so theirs no Overwatch in my future…
But l like watching my friends play it~

And now the only thing that im looking forward to is Revelations (end of this year?) if my PC can handle it and Twilight Spirits (but thats is a 2017-2018 release)

Lost Ark looks good too but its Korean so it might come with Korean Style Netcode. More ping = less dps

iTOS total population down to 2k or 1k is not just a troll anymore…

half of current 5k are in the same state as you are, just playing coz there is nothing out there worth playing

Im not going to play a KR MMO unless it comes to the west…
I did that when DFO went down in the US, and that game was borderline unplayable…
never doing it again…

PSO2 worked fine tho, i had no lag despite its servers being in Japan

To be fair, if there were something else worth playing then I dont think Ied have come back from my hiatus unless TOS started getting TONS of buzz

You mean like those bot reports, bugs, bugs, player abuse, abusive players, bugs, shoddy customer service, exploiting players, bugs, bugs, 5fps system self ddos, bugs, bugs are all made up?

Are you calling all the good folks who’ve worked hard to keep the game legit liars? Are you saying that the vast majority of players (who aren’t bots/botters) are SH!tposters just because they have a valid complaint to MAKE NOISE ABOUT?!

The only niche the game is filling is for cheaters because the code is so ripe and open for the ravaging. There is nothing to polish other than their game breaking ways. Why don’t you go farm the elusive ribbon boater hat and compete with +50 gears in PvP? Maybe you’re part of that niche market.

I think you’re mistaking hate for great disappointment.

I will prevent new players from starting it because I don’t want them to get IMC’ed batch slapped in the face when they realize there’s nothing for them other than great resentment from starting a broken game.

I’m certain this game won’t become much of anything until the optimization is on point. I also don’t think there’s going to be any advertising until then. I don’t expect any waves of new players any time soon. Besides, I think it’s a good idea to keep the game on the down-low while they sort their ■■■■ out.

But I still want to play it, so there’s that.

Lost Ark is planning an international release, don’t sweat it. I am mostly waiting for that game but if it’s a bust, I’ll stick to ToS.

Solve the bots, hacking, exploiting afk farm things and implementing anti cheat guard, probably disallow all mods uses. Then you can talk about optimization and the future of the game etc etc.
