What classes have no fitting advancements atm

While i do agree Shinobi is a choice, it has no direct synergy with shinobi,which i thought was the point.

Yeh but you can take Murmilo for your Swordy and Hacka for your Archer. I know, I know, you’re a TBL player. You can still take hacka to be able to use a sword (if I’m right we will be able to reset the last rank anytime, so you’re free to try it). I agree it’s a little bit weird as you’ll never use your Hacka skills (and because IMC is too stupid with restrictions and even players will tell you Hacka is mounted only because of lore, while this argument doesn’t make any sense). Any class fit with Rogue3 but has no big sinergy (except Hacka if you’re not using Cloacking), and it’s actually the problem of the whole Archer tree. Restrictions everywhere in this tree.

I prefer to be the squishy archer with a xbow/dagger and play the shiit i like instead of being a meta slave :smiley:

I really dislike both murm and hakka gameplay. I’ll just wait and hope the others R9 will fit with my builds :crossed_fingers:

yeah and then you’ll realize that you have to regrind nearly 10 billion Class EXP just because you took Hackapella for fun.
Also, don’t forget that the new 350 unique 2 practonium Dagger has attack boost on Backstab, there’s no way he’d use a stupid sword over the Dagger with +150% damage on Backstab, crit rate boost and 3 slots…

Sapper/Falconer make more sense, heck even Archer 2 for the critrate boost on Kneeling Shot/Swift Step is better than Hackapella.

I guess SRs aren’t counted in this :frowning:

Yeah, that’s my point. That’s actually a BAD thing, because Backstab requires either the Karacha set or the new level 300 +150% backstab damage dagger to actually do decent damage. The fact that you can backstab with a sword now means that you won’t autoswap to your dagger to use backstab, so you have to swap manually.

And, again, burrow is a total dumpsterfire of a bad skill for a C3. It would be interesting as a C1 or possibly C2 gimmick skill but devoting 3 circles of a class to it ruins any use it might have.

And then here I am just here doing TBL on my SR with xbow and a shield.

Edit: and just to be on topic, I dont think BM is made for SR as well. So no Rank 9 for us kinda…

Plus the core identity of the Doppel build is Doppel itself

Shinobi is bad for Doppel.
You only get moulinet.
And only if youre Hl c2-c3.

We get outdpsed even now by op murmnobis.
So whats the point for doppel on R9?

The only chance is a good master circle later or they change the skills that are useable with shinobi clones.
Skyliner/Vertical slash would be a good start ~.~

most of the doppel will get hl2 or hl3. if we don’t take shinobi for r9 , i dont see any other better option than shinobi.

W3Thaum2Alch3 Not sure what to select next, was mentaly prepared to go Alch 4 aka Master Alchemist which I predicted almost year ago ;3
But there will be no option for that, yet.
Could be potentional salvation if Master Alchemist would get True Homunculus skills + pasive skills to build his own guardian, no extensions to his crafting abilites or alchemic misile ;3 Atm Homunculus is borderline useless cause having to recraft it every month, being able to copy only few usefull abilites and poor ai.

Sw1Peltasta3Squire3Shinobi - Hoped for some nice R9 to round him up, not sure he would work well with Matador 1 (or if removed SHinobi) so I guess I will be forced to take Murmillo Afer all

C1P3Ch1Par2Inquisitor - Full SPR buffer, I guess Removing Inqui and take two ranks of Taoist ?

A2Sap3Scout1Falcon1Mergen1 - Mergen 2 is obvious choice here, but seeing Mergen 2 video it seems like he got short end of sticks, hoped to get some decent abilities to make up for Mergen 1 weakness withotu circling, maybe time to swap him to totally different build again (A1QS3Ro1Falcon3BM1) and use his build to my musketeer.

A2QS3Scout1Musket2 - Musket 3 seems to not favor QS3 at all, it just cements musketeer to quirky PvP or Party only PvE character.
Probably time to rework her from scratch yet again (Seems I never be happy with any Musket builds for longer periods of time ;3)

i think you have to choose between hitting a lot with backstab or hitting a lot with every other skill.

Tbh, abdochar with a high refine high trans still hits hard af in tbl.

if you use it only to make money you can use the rank reset event to fit a pyro1 into ur build and go enchanter 1 to sell enchant fire scrolls xD.

well, if you are going pardoneer you might s well go pardoneer 3 now because of the mdef buff added in the shop… i guess the best option to go as far as rank 8 classes is concerned is zealot. i myself have the same problem in my chaplain atm, because while zealot does great dmg it is physical dmg, so the synergy that is present shouldn’t really exist… it only does because zealot is FREAKING OP.

567% x2 (without attribute) + “extra damages” when you hit from the back (3OH). I’m not saying it’s the best skill of all time but you don’t really need the dagger you’re talking about to deal decent damages. Swords are way more powerful if upgraded correctly, so +150% is nothing.

Swords aren’t really much more powerful if “upgraded correctly” unless you don’t upgrade your dagger. They’re definitely not +150% more powerful, at least – that’s turning your 567% attack ratio into 1417%. That’s an attack ratio that is actually worth it for a skill that has such a pitiful hitbox and no AoE bonus, but otherwise it’s just mediocre and as Rogue’s only real attack skill (because Vendetta is just trash) makes Rogue not worth it as a class choice except for one circle to get Sneak Hit, and even Sneak Hit isn’t nearly as good without the ability to stack Werewolf cards, especially now that Appraiser exists.

If you want to argue attack ratios don’t matter as much when you have a +300 full trans weapon, no ■■■■ but then backstab’s other weaknesses are just made even more obvious because why hit one enemy when you can hit a full screen.

If only IMC allowed us to use more 15 Job Points on Doppel skills it would be enough.

Well this is exactly how they intended to balance the swordsman tree

They intentionally make matador bad and leave no room for doppels to go anywhere else, so this forces both doppel and fencer into going shinobi

That way IMC can be lazy and not have to worry about the imbalances caused by shinobi, because they just went with the meme route

I will be a matador anyway because it’s cool. Same reason I’m still playing Corsair3. This game is a joke so there’s really no reason to try and metagame it, just go for maximum style.
