Weirdest MMO launch ever

Things seem relatively stable and there’s not nearly as much server side latency as I anticipated.

But how on earth could you not have TP purchase ready for this? You’re losing tens of thousands by the hour from yet another epic oversight. The F2P players are dumbfounded by the lack TP store, constantly asking in chat and rightfully so.

So basically you have a ton of people running around on extremely limited accounts, not because they want to but because you weren’t even remotely ready for your own launch. This is just a continuation of the many other mistakes but it’s getting pretty old by this point. There’s also been little to no marketing of any kind. How little could someone care about their own game and the sad part is it’s actually pretty fun.

I wish a had more faces to palm.

Yea this is the most hands-off launch I’ve ever witnessed for a F2P MMO and it has a dash of stupid considering the absence of being able to buy TP.

It really does seem like they haven’t the faintest clue what they are doing.

I just don’t understand it. I get that running an MMO on a limited budget is daunting but this goes well beyond lack of common sense at this point. Is there an internal power struggle or some sort of meltdown going on at IMC?

That’s all I can think of to justify such carelessness.

It’s weird because there is no actual loli content.

They will gain tens of thousands by the hour if there was loli content.

Because of the game’s art style, literally every character is a loli. Pretty much covered in this department.

I’ve only found one.

Edit: That could actually be somewhat classified as a loli. There isn’t actually really a lot of things in Tree Of Savior that can be a loli.

Actually, I read similar things that happened in other games like Aura Kingdom, whereas people get banned because they used Steam to get currency, and after awhile their emails get absolutely destroyed.

IMC MAY be trying to set up a site-wise way of buying TP and linking it to the servers, but that’s just wishful thinking right now.

No but enjoy making 350-400k on a F2P account that can only list one item at a time for a 30% penalty.

Weird, man. I personally think the female player models, minus the weird looking boobs on certain costumes, all have the bodies of 8 year olds more or less.

The fact that it’s possible is not the point.

The point is people want to buy subscriptions right now and they can’t. My enjoyment of the game takes a nosedive when i have to save all my silver for metagame benefits when all I I want to spend it on is a new sword or shield. It’s a garbage way to approach a new game.

At level 140-150 you can farm 100-200k per hour in pure silver. Besides, F2P players cannot make any silver on the market at all untill the 72 hours have passed. Being able to purchase a token with TP would not remove this limit.
